3 STYPE KIT OVERVIEW Stype Kit is a mechanical tracking system for camera cranes. Professionals can use the system in high-end television studios for virtual studio and augmented reality broadcast. Complete freedom of production techniques is available with the Stype kit: green or blue screen, augmented reality (no screens), inside or outside broadcast. Stype kit is designed and manufactured by Stype in EU. FEATURE WHY IT IS BENEFITIAL BOLT-ON SYSTEM No need for physical modifications of the crane no special tools are necessary and you get to keep your crane s warranty. This also means you can reuse the Stype kit on different cranes and on different locations. AUTOMATIC AIMING & FOCUSING Stype kit enables automatic aiming and focusing targeting. Move the crane arm and don t worry about focus or frame. Very useful for beginner camera crane operators. More experienced operators can get creative with this feature, too. ROBUST & STANDALONE No need for external sensors, special floor surfaces or markers in the studio. Camera crane and Stype kit is everything you need. NO NEED FOR LINE-OF-SIGHT Because of mechanical tracking, there is no problem with interfering objects. NOT PHOTOSENSITIVE Works equally well in a dark studio and outdoors in the sun. EASY AND FAST SETUP Takes half an hour for initial installation and ~15 minutes for initial calibration. LENS CALIBRATION Save time and do a better job with Stype kit s integrated lens calibration feature. PORTABLE Every component fits easily in a standard flight case take it with you anywhere. Render engine composites the real-time camera footage and 3D virtual graphic overlays. STYPE KIT CONSOLE - CONNECTOR SIDE 1 USB Mini USB connector used to connect with PC for firmware upgrade. 2 24V POWER SUPPLY standard 3 pin XLR for 24V power supply connector for connecting with power supply. 3 VIRTUAL OUTPUT Ethernet connector used for virtual studio serial output, as well as UDP/IP output of camera position, rotation, zoom and focus. 4 SYNC BNC connector for connecting BlackBurst Genlock signal. 5 DOLLY 4 pin connector used to connect a string encoder if the crane is used on a dolly, or to connect a focus external encoder when the kit is used on a fixed tripod. 6 HEAD CABLE 24 pin AMP plug for connecting with head 24 pin cable.
