5 Radian APEX Series Enclosures Represent the Pinnacle of Compact, High Output Floor Monitors for the Touring Sound Market. Radian now offers four new models of the APEX floor monitor series. APEX 1200XD, APEX 1500XD, APEX NEO- 1200XD and the APEX-NEO-1500XD. They all come with the XD technology developed by Radian Audio which features a zero path resistance bi-amp switch mode along with a new Xtreme Definition crossover design. This new technology yields a very high quality frequency response that will out perform any competitive speaker in its class. They also come with a zero resistant switch that selects between the passive and bi-amp crossover modes of operation. Each cabinet is pre-wired with two Neutrik NL-4 connectors placed inside the front port that allows for easy parallel wiring connections and features a concealed cable management type wiring system. The NEO version models of the APEX line feature dual neodymium magnets which include a separate individual neodymium magnet for each section of the coaxial speaker as compared to other manufactures using only one magnet ring. Radian Audio high powered NEO coaxial speakers have extended frequency response with better sensitivity and handle higher continuous power levels. APEX-NEO models are much lighter weight and are made from 13-ply Baltic birch wood that is finished with the Radian s exclusive scratch resistant, waterproof Duradian finish. They also feature a durable, strong speaker grille that you can stand on. 9 Radian's New Precision Array Enclosures are Full Range Arrayable Loudspeaker Systems with Horn Loaded Compression Drivers. Featuring Radian s proprietary Alloy/Mylar composite diaphragms and compression drivers. Perfect focus hand laid fiberglass horns with long throw woofers, the Radian Presision Array series are built for high performance, exacting pattern control and unmatched durability. Enclosures are constructed using 13-ply void free Birch plywood. Integral 3/8-16 fly points (a total of 16 on each enclosure) and are available with or without integral pole cup. The 3 diaphragm compression drivers are available with 2 choices of horn pattern and switchable passive/bi-amp operation. Radian Precision Array series are at home in critical installations and touring systems where reliability and sound quality are the key design factors. Woofer section features a wool/carbon composite cone with 4 or 3 voice coil and cast basket with venture venting. The sides of the enclosures are CNC cut at exacting angles to allow seamless arrayability with minimal comb filtering. Finishes are available in Black or White Polane textured finish or our exclusive Duradian all weather finish and have grill cloth material behind the 16 ga. Grille for a clean architectural finish. Power handling for the Precision Array models is a robust 750W AES and 1500W continuous. As with all Radian Audio Engineering products all drivers are handcrafted at our factory in Orange, California to strict tolerances ensuring the enclosures are all matched perfectly with each other. Radian Audio Engineering s Contractor Series with coaxial technology are designed to provide contractors with point-source coherent loudspeaker systems for permanent installations that sound great and greatly reduce installation time. The Radian Audio Contractor Series features 13-ply premium birch enclosures, parallel Neutrik NL4 connectors, perforated steel grills and 3/8 hardened inserts for flying attachment points. All speaker frames are cast aluminum and every transducer we offer is handcrafted at our factory in Orange, California. Radian Contractor Series loudspeaker systems are ideal for installations into houses of worship, theme parks, sports facilities, government buildings, nightclubs and bars or anywhere where coherent sound reproduction is an integral part of the design goal. Radian subwoofers are engineered to provide deep extended low-frequency response for high SPL live and playback applications. All Radian subwoofers feature a composite ribbed cone reinforced with Kevlar. The 4 voice coil is edgewound aluminum for better transient response, but advanced adhesives give it the power handling capacity of more conventional voice coils. The 18 versions are capable of a genuine db SPL, from 30hZ-500Hz, with three db to spare for peak output. Add this to a high-energy magnetic structure with a venturi cross section to increase efficient ventilation, and the result is a highly responsive subwoofer system that delivers robust bass at High SPL s. Some models feature mounting brackets with transformers and networks attached for ease of installation. 15 Radian s Ceiling Speakers are, Quite Simply, the Best Coaxial Ceiling Speakers Available. First of all, they are true coaxial loudspeakers. This means much more than a high frequency unit mounted coaxially with the LF unit. Radian uses one of the best compression drivers ever developed, coupled directly to a LF center pole with a 1 horn machined into the shape of an exponential horn, which loads the compression driver at a taper rate at least two octaves below crossover. This horn is coupled precisely at its exit to our drivers and provides a perfect 90 conical dispersion. Radian s compression drivers utilize aluminum domes with an industry pioneering Mylar surround that greatly reduces harmonic distortion at the same time improving reliability over one-piece metal diaphragms. With multiple configurations ranging from an 8 coaxial up to a 15 Cast frame 1000w powerhouse with a 3 diaphragm compression driver capable of 127dB continuous output, we have the solution for all applications. Our products can be heard in a number of large-scale installations where superior sound quality and maximum coverage were the main design criteria. 17 The RC Series Contains Low Cost, High Performance, Small Format Surface Mount and Ceiling Loudspeaker Packaged Systems. Specified and installed by owners, architects, contractors, and consultants world-wide for most any commercial, industrial or institutional application. Your choice of three different sized ceiling speakers, 6.5" with 30 pivotal HF tweeter, 5.25", and a 4." Fire rated steel back cans with tuned port enclosures and quick mount tabs, integral cable clamp/strain relief and seismic tabs. Included in each pair of speakers is the TB6 tile bridge assembly for use in existing drop and acoustic ceilings where a T-bar mounting is needed. A convenient front mounted selector switch on the 6.5" allows tap selection without the need to remove the speaker. This switch also includes a transformer bypass setting for 8 ohm direct coupled operation. UL1480 Compliant. The two-way RC " x.5" surface mounted speaker provides extended frequency response.
