4 Listening Inspection: The is compatible with both wireless hearing instruments & non-wireless hearing instruments. Please note that the volume control & program buttons of the will have no function until the DWA is programmed via the Unitron fitting software. Therefore after a firmware upgrade of the digital wireless accessory the client settings must be restored to the to be able to perform the functional inspection. Attention To perform the functional inspection you need to use a Wireless Functional Test Device (WFT). Refer to the WFT operation instructions document. Turn on the device LED indicator light works? Repair information Disassembly 1 Remove the battery cover and unscrew the 3 screws using the torx 6 screw driver.

5 Attention The HIBAN antenna and the FSK remote coil are glued in to the bottom of the housing and can not be

6 Repair information Disassembly 1 Remove the battery cover and unscrew the 3 screws using the torx 6 screw driver. ( ) 2 Remove the housing bottom and electronic module. 3 Separate the housing ring & cover. Remove the buttons and light pipe. 4 Lift the slider slightly up and then angle out the top edge to release the slider from the switch. 5 Attention The HIBAN antenna and the FSK remote coil are glued in to the bottom of the housing and can not be removed. These components are frequency tuned and can not be replaced. In the case of faulty electronics or housing bottom is damaged the complete device is to be replaced. Assembly: 1 Align the on/off slider with the switch (A).

7 Assembly: 1 Align the on/off slider with the switch (A). Insert the bottom edge of the slider in the housing and rotate the slider into position (B). 2 Insert the light pipe and buttons into the housing cover. Then fit the housing ring. A B 3 Place the housing bottom and electronics module on to the front cover assembly. 4 Screw in the three screws (A). Insert a battery and fit the battery cover (B).
