3 About Microblink is a research and development company focused on machine vision technology for mobile devices. We are specialised in developing SDKs (software development kits) for enhancing UX in mobile apps. Our mobile text recognition (OCR) technology is used to improve user experience in a wide variety of use cases: from mobile payments, onboarding of new users, KYC, expense tracking, ticket validation, check in at airports and hotels, to security and ID scanning for voting registration. Microblink was established in 2013 and is based in Zagreb, Croatia (EU) with a wholly owned subsidiary company Microblink Ltd in UK. 3

4 Our story 2012 The pilot project grew to the PhotoPay Ltd., which was founded in Soon, PhotoPay was implemented in apps of several major EU banks Photomath was the winner in the Digital Media category in the 4YFN competition at Mobile World Congress. The app grew from thousands to millions of monthly users in only 6 months, therefore it was established as a separate company Our technology has taken a new course and switched from old school computer vision to supervised deep learning. We launched a new product, blinkreceipt A pilot project was created with the aim to eliminate the need for manual data entry for bill payments. PhotoPay evolved as our mobile OCR proved efficient for other use-cases. In 2014 Microblink Ltd. was founded as a mobile vision software company. As a showcase of our BlinkOCR technology we created Photomath - a mobile app that reads and solves mathematical problems in real time by using a mobile device camera. Microblink grew from a team of 7 to 20 people. As we are continuously developing OCR technology, we introduced two new products: blinkiban and blinkinput. 4

5 Research and technology Our high precision real-time text recognition is based on the latest research in machine learning and it is highly optimized for mobile devices. BlinkOCR allows mobile app developers to solve a range of text recognition problems using a mobile device camera. Our research team is continuously finding new ways to design state-of-the-art neural networks, and our development team makes sure that the networks are running fast while requiring minimal memory. This enables high accuracy and speed when supporting even the most complex use cases. Developed and optimized specifically for mobile devices, BlinkOCR uses all the computing power of a mobile device for local real-time performance. 5
