2 ABOUT AIBMDA The All India Broadcast Manufacturers and Distributors Association, AIBMDA, is a non-profit company registered under Companies Act, Established in 2008, the objectives of the association are to (i) Take up issues affecting growth of broadcast industry with Government and other regulatory authorities; (ii) Find ways of resolving problems faced by industry through a continuous process of discussion with members; (iii) Monitor developments in the broadcast sector and share it with members; (iv) Encourage technical innovation through financial and other help; and (v) Apprise engineers and broadcast professionals of latest developments in the broadcast sector through conferences, seminars and exhibitions. AIBMDA has 35 members and plans to double the number by the end of the year. INDIAN BROADCAST MARKET According to the FICCI-KPMG Report 2015, the Media and Entertainment sector in India, pegged at Rs. 102,600 crores in 2014, is expected to grow to Rs. 196,400 crores in 2019 at a CAGR of 13.9%. According to the report, TV will continue to be the major contributor of revenue followed by Film, Radio and Music in that order. Revenue from TV, placed at an estimated Rs. 47,490 crores in 2014, is expected to grow to Rs. 97,550 crores in 2019 at an impressive CAGR of 15.5% Revenue from Film, placed at an estimated Rs. 12,640 crores in 2014, is expected to grow to Rs. 20,400 crores in 2019 at a CAGR of 10.0% Revenue from Radio, estimated to be Rs. 1,720 crores in 2014, is expected to grow to Rs. 3,950 crores in 2019 at a CAGR of 18.1% Revenue from Music, estimated to be Rs.980 crores in 2014, is expected to grow to Rs.1,890 crores in 2019 at a CAGR of 14.0%

3 SOUTH INDIA S BROADCAST MARKET According to a recent report prepared by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu on Media & Entertainment in South India, revenue from South India s M & E industry, pegged at Rs.23,900 crores in 2013 is expected to grow to Rs.43,600 crores in 2017 at a CAGR of 16%. With 56% share of the revenue, TV continues to be the largest contributor to M & E sector. Revenue from TV, placed at Rs.13,470 crores is expected to grow to Rs.27,960 crores in 2017 at a CAGR of 20%. Revenue from Film, estimated at Rs.2,680 crores in 2013, is expected to grow to Rs. 4,220 crores in 2017 at a CAGR of 12%. Revenue from New Media, estimated to be Rs.690 crore in 2013, is expected to grow to Rs.1,600 crores in 2017 at a CAGR of 23%. Revenue from Radio, currently estimated at Rs.420 crores in 2013, is expected to grow to Rs.830 crores in 2017 at a CAGR of 19%. As shown above, the South Indian market for TV, Film and Radio is expected to grow faster than the overall Indian market over the next four years. This is the main reason why Broadcast & Media Technology is being held in Chennai. BROADCAST & MEDIA Broadcast & Media Technology 2017, 4th International Exhibition & Conference on Broadcast Equipment and Technology is aimed at apprising engineers, professionals, cinematographers, decision-makers and entrepreneurs about the latest broadcast equipment and technologies available around the world. CONFERENCE For the first time, a two-day conference will be held concurrently with the exhibition. The conference will be open to CEOs and CTOs of Radio and TV channels by invitation only. Some of the best speakers and panelists in India and abroad will be invited to speak in the conference. The conference will be open from 9.30 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. on 13 and 14 July after which the attendees will visit the exhibition. Details regarding the conference will be communicated shortly. DATES & VENUE Broadcast & Media Technology 2017 will be held from 13 to 15 July 2017 in Convention Hall, Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai. The duration of the exhibition has been extended to 3 days to bring it in line with international exhibitions. Stall decoration and setting-up of equipment inside stalls will be done on Wednesday 12 July. To the extent possible, exhibitors should avoid heavy construction inside their stalls. 4 PARTICIPATION Broadcast & Media Technology 2017 is open for participation by manufacturers, dealers and distributors of broadcast equipment and technology for Radio and TV from India and abroad. Members of AIBMDA as well as non-members are welcome to participate in the show. Visitors will be invited to the show through advertisements, invitation fliers, text- messages and s. A list of people visiting the exhibition will be provided to exhibitors free-of-cost after the show. The shows in 2014, 2015 and 2016 were visited by 700, 800 and 1,000 broadcast professionals respectively. We expect 3,000 people to visit the show in APPROVAL & SUPPORT Broadcast & Media Technology 2017 is approved by ITPO and supported by Fraunhofer Germany, FICCI, Prasar Bharati, Audio Engineering Society India and several other Indian and foreign organisations.

5 EXHIBIT SPACE Space in the exhibition is available in multiples of 9 sqm. A standard 9 sqm (3m x 3m x 2.5m) stall in the shell-scheme will have the following furniture & fixtures > One Table measuring 1m (w) x 0.5m (d) x 0.75m (h) > Two chairs > Four lights > One socket > One waste paper basket > Carpet and > Company name on fascia Space will be provided strictly on first-come first-served basis. Three-side open stalls will preferably be given to companies taking 36 sqm or more space. A floor plan of the exhibition is enclosed. INTERIOR DECORATION AND BRANDING Exhibitors are advised to bring their display material in a ready-to-assemble condition and restrict their branding to walls of stalls and tables allotted to them. Care must be taken to ensure that Chennai Trade Centre property including carpet does not get spoilt in any way. Carpentry and painting work inside stalls should be avoided. PARTICIPATION FEE Participation fee for Indian and foreign companies is as follows Members/Non-members Indian Foreign Members Rs.9,500 per sqm - Non-members Rs.10,500 per sqm US$250 per sqm In both cases, Service 15 % is extra. Being a non-profit organisation, AIBMDA has kept the fee at a reasonably low level. Fee is inclusive of complimentary tea/coffee and cookies for exhibitors and their guests in the Exhibitor Lounge

7 BOARDING & LODGING Arrangements are being made to provide boarding and lodging facilities to exhibitors and their principals in a suitable, reasonably priced 5 star hotel during the exhibition. Details regarding the hotel together with rates will be communicated to exhibitors in due course.
