1 CERTIFIED REVENUE CYCLE PROFESSIONAL Overview and Types of Sections Patient Access / Front Office Billing Credit and Collections Revenue Cycle Management * It is important to note that although the exam is broken down into these four sections, the exam will include all acronyms and federal rules and regulations throughout the exam. 2 Grading of the Exam In order to successfully pass the exam, you must score a 70% in each section of the exam to pass. You must pass all four sections to pass. If one or two sections are failed, you are eligible to retake those section. If you fail three or more, a retake of the entire exam will be required. Each section retake costs $ 50. The exam is administered in the presence of a proctor. AAHAM will assist in obtaining a location and proctor for the exam. This exam is 4 hours in length. No electronic devices such as phones, PDAs, flash drives, etc. will be permitted failed. Results will be automatic. You will know upon submission of the exam if you passed or What is Patient Access?
