SAMEER is looking for suitable persons at Mumbai / Navi Mumbai for various sponsored project on consolidated pay. These are contractual appointments and shall not confer any right for regularization / absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER A. SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTISTS S.N POST: SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTISTS 1 Discipline ELECTRONICS POST CODE SRSEL01 SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTISTS B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics /Microwave / Electronics & Communication / M. E / M. Tech in Electronics / Electronics & Communication/ Microwave/ M.Sc. ( Electronics) with Minimum 55% Marks Senior Research Scientists: 5years experience in Electronics in the following areas Signal Processing design/ development in the area of spatial transforms & image processing, matched filters, FFT s etc. Knowledge of FPGA/DSP processors, MatLAB Radar based Atmospheric Data Processing and Analysis using MatLab / C++, Design of FPGA, Microcontroller & ARM controller based data acquisition systems. Desirable: The Candidates with hands on experience in FPGA / ARM / Microcontroller based firmware development/ in Lab-view, MatLAB / Simulink based data acquisition, processing & analysis for Atmospheric Radar. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on satellite / radar data acquisition & processing algorithm

Once candidate fills the online information, he/she can edit it as he/she wants. Finally the applicant must click FINAL SUBMIT and a PDF form will be generated. All candidates are required to get a print out of the PDF file and bring along

10 with all the originals and a set of photo copy of all the documents when they come for the written test / interview. b) Without the print out of the online submitted form, the candidates will not be to permit to appear for the written test /interview. c) Walk in interview will be conducted for all other contract positions (Project Assistants/Technicians).Candidates desirous of attending walk-in-interview for the contract position of Project Assistants/Project Technicians should attend as per the schedule given above. 3. Selection Procedure Candidates, who fulfil the prescribed qualifications and experience, are required to appear for a written objective type of test. The shortlisted candidates will be required to attenda personal interview. Final selection will be based on performance in the interview. Written tests and Interviews will be held in SAMEER, Mumbai. General Note Candidates, who possessed the prescribed degree with minimum 55% or equivalent CGPAawarded by the university up to the closing date of application, will only be considered. Candidates should possess the prescribed experience in the relevant fields as mentioned under the column with documentary proof. The experience gained in Research Scientists/or equivalent will only be counted as relevant experience for Sr. Research Scientist. Crucial date for counting experience will be the closing date of applications. The relevant experience possessed before acquiring the essential qualifications will not be counted. In such cases, the required experience will be counted only from the date the essential qualifications acquired. The prescribed s/experience is bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for written test/skill test. a) Persons working in the Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies/ Semi Government organisations should forward their application through proper channel and/or submit a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the employer at the time of the interview 4.
