The examination will be held in accordance with the Recruitment Rules issued vide BSNL letter No. 5-9/2001/Pers-IV dated 10th October, 2001 and amended vide BSNL/ND letter No.5-9/2009-PersIV dated and BSNL/ND letter No. 5-28/2009-Pers-IV dated and Scheme & Syllabus circulated vide BSNL/ND letter No. BSNL/ND letter No. 5-11/2009-Pers-IV dated Eligibility conditionsapplications are invited from the eligible candidates of CTD to be appeared in the- (I) 35% by promotion through Limited Internal Competitive Examination from amongst following group C employees below 50 years of age as on the date of such examination of the Engineering Wing namelyphone Inspector/Auto Exchange Assistants/Wireless Operators/ Transmission Assistants/Telecom Technical Assistants/Sr. Telecom Office Assistants and possessing the following essential qualifications and experiencea) i) Bachelor of Engineering /Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering Degree in any of the discipline viz. Telecommunications/Electronics/Electrical/Radio/Computer/ Information Technology (IT) Or Bachelor of Science with Physics and Mathematics. Or3 years Diploma in Telecom/Eletronics/Eletrical/Radio/Computer/ Information Technology (IT) and B) (ii) 7 years regular service in post in Group C. (II) i) ii) 15% by promotion through limited Internal competitive examination from amongst the following Group C employee of Telecom Engineering. Working in Telecom Engineering Branch including office of the Chief General Manager Telecom Circle/District other than Plumbers/Sanitory Inspectors/Conservancy. Working in Telecommunication Factory, other than those borne on Industrial Establishments. Contd..2/

2 2. iii) iv) Borne on the regular establishment and working as Accounts Clerk in the accounts wing under Telecommunications Circles. Borne on the regular establishment and working as Works Clerks Grade I and II, Work Assistants, Draftman, Junior Architects and Electricians in the Civil Wing under Telecom Circles and possessing the following educational qualifications, namely3 years Diploma in Telecom/Electronics/Electrical/Radio/Computer Engg/ Information Technology (IT) and 7 years service in posts in Group C. Crucial date for determining the qualifying service (i.e. 7 years) will be 1st July of the respective vacancy year against which the candidature of the official is being considered. As per Recruitment Rules the employees eligible to take up competitive examination under 35% limited internal competitive Examination quota shall not be eligible for appearing at the competitive examination under 15% limited internal competitive examination quota. The eligible departmental candidates must submit their applications in prescribed proforma given along with this circular, THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL duly filled in all respects to the under signed on or before Application received after this date will not be entertained. There would be negative marking for each wrong answer. 25% of the mark of that question would be deducted.
