If it doesn t have the credit in the title, it may not count for credit. Workforce Planning and Development (WPD) doesn t need certificates for OSDH sponsored courses completed on OK-TRAIN. Hint: They ll have the credit type and amount in the title. For any course not sponsored by OSDH for which you wish to receive credit, you must submit a certificate of completion to Workforce Planning and Development at training@health.ok.gov for review. WPD does not have access to the rosters for courses sponsored by entities other than the Oklahoma State Department of Health. OK-TRAIN can be accessed on any internet connection - including android phones, tablets, laptops, or desktops.

2 How to Register for an OSDH Course This step by step guide will walk you through the process of how to register for an OSDH Course. OSDH Courses will have credit type and amount of credit earned in the title. 1. Click the Quick Access Button (QAB) that corresponds to the type of course credit you wish to attend 2. Select the Course you wish to attend 3. Click Registration Tab 4. For Credit Type Select Certificate of Attendance 5. For Classroom/ Video Conferences Select the date your wish to attend and Click the register button 6. For Web-based training select Launch 7. You are now registered for the course How to Register for a Non-OSDH Course This step by step guide will walk you through the process of how to register for a course not sponsored by OSDH. 1. Type the Course name or Subject Area into the Search bar (It is located on the top right of the home page above My Action Items 2. Select the Course you wish to attend (OSDH Courses will have Type and credit included in the title 3. Click Registration Tab 4. For Credit Type Select Certificate of Attendance 5. For Classroom/ Video Conferences select the date your wish to attend and Click the register button 6. For Web-based training select Launch 7. You are now registered for the course Once the course is completed and you wish the course to be considered for credit, you must submit a certificate of completion and a Course Credit Request ODH960 to Workforce Planning and Development at training@health.ok.gov for review.

3 How to Withdraw from a Course If you are registered for a course and cannot attend or are unable to complete the course, follow these steps to withdraw from the course so that you may re-register for the course at a different date. 1. Click on My Learning. It is in your My Action Items right side of homepage. 3. Click on the M next to the course which you wish to withdraw from 4. Click Withdraw 5. It will ask you if you are sure Click Yes 6. You are now withdrawn 7. This will enable you to re-register for this course at another time How to Complete an Evaluation on OKTRAIN This step by step guide will walk you through the process of how to complete an evaluation for courses which require an evaluation to receive credit. 1. Click on My Learning. It is in your My Action Items right side of homepage. 3. Click on the M next to the course which you wish to complete the evaluation on 4. Mark the Course Completed 5. Click on Evaluation 6. Click on Start Evaluation 7. You will receive a message letting you know when the evaluation has completed How to Complete an Assessment on OKTRAIN This step by step guide will walk you through the process of how to complete an assessment for courses which require an assessment to receive credit. Unless stated otherwise an Assessment requires a 70% to receive credit. 1. Click on My Learning. It is in your My Action Items right side of OKTRAIN homepage. 3. Click on the M next to the course which you wish to complete the evaluation on 4. Mark the Course Completed 5. Click on Assessment 6. Click on Start Assessment 7. You will receive a message letting you know when the assessment is complete. 8. You will need to receive 70% or better on the assessment to receive credit unless notified otherwise. How to Print a Certificate

4 This step by step guide will walk you through the process of printing your certificate. Workforce Planning and Development has access to the training for OSDH sponsored courses so they do not need your certificate. 1. Click on My Certificates. It is in your My Action Items right side of homepage. 2. Click on View All Certificates 4. Once you have located the course you can click the certificate to the right of the course. If the course does not have a certificate named to the right of the course, there is no certificate available for the course. How to Upload an External Certificate For courses which may have a certificate outside of OKTRAIN, you may load an external certificate. To do so: 4. Once you have located the course you can click the upload external certificate below the selected course. How to View Your OKTRAIN Transcript This is a step by step guide on how to view your OKTRAIN Transcript. The only courses that will appear on the OKTRAIN transcript are course that you registered for in OKTRAIN. If you took the course but did not register for the course through OKTRAIN then the course will not be on your OKTRAIN Transcript. How to Add Non-OKTRAIN Courses to Your OKTRAIN Transcript

5 Courses which are not registered for on OKTRAIN will not show up on your OKTRAIN transcript. To add them follow the instructions below 3. At the bottom of the screen you will have the option to add Non-Train Courses 4. You will need to fill out the information for the course. The parts with the red asterisk are mandatory. 5. Upon completing the form you may select save. It will then be added to your transcript. You may then be able to load an external certificate to the course you just added, with the following steps. 6. Click on My Learning. It is in your My Action Items right side of homepage. 7. Click on TRAIN Transcript 8. The now OKTRAIN course you want to upload a certificate will be at the bottom of the screen. 9. Once you have located the course you can click the Upload External Certificate below the selected course.
