5 PMI & Chapter Membership Fees Membership Type Fees Individual $129 plus $10 application fee (join) $129 (renew) Student $32 (join) $32 (renew) Qualification PMP Certification not required to join Enrolled full time in a degree-granting program at a college or university that has U.S. accreditation Retiree $65 (renew) Must be a PMI member in good standing and current with your PMI membership dues for five consecutive years, and Have retired from active employment Chapter $25 (join) $25 (renew) Must be PMI member to join Apply from PMI website Renewal is at the same time as PMI membership renewal 5

7 Hardship Program via PMI Website Qualification Waiver How to apply? PMI member s financial condition has changed drastically Must be in good standing and current with your PMI membership dues for at least three previous years Will be granted for one year May be extended up to a maximum 2 years Send to membership.services@pmi.org prior to membership expiration ü Explain the nature of the hardship along with the invoice and attention to the Manager, Membership Services 7
