3 Introducing the RDU-Touch The RDU-Touch is the latest generation of high end comfort control user interfaces from Titan Products. Offering high quality material finishes along with an attractive and intuitive touch screen interface, the RDU-Touch is the perfect tool for setting the temperature comfort conditions and control modes within the room. Control modes can easily be altered between Auto, Heat only, Cool only and Off at a touch of the screen while the occupant can effortlessly adjust the temperature set point and fan speeds within each room. An integrated temperature sensor can also be supplied on the RDU-Touch to remove the need for remote room temperature sensors. 4 The Controller The energy efficient room control is performed via the Titan Products FCU-503 controller. The application specific FCU-503 controller holds all the control logic for the controlled room, and can effortlessly control fan coil only applications, combined fan coil and underfloor heating applications or fan coil cooling, underfloor heating with combined fan coil boost heating applications. Being able to control both the underfloor and fan coil systems from the one controller can significantly reduce the cost of the project as separate systems are no longer required. The FCU-503 also prevents both the heating and cooling systems from fighting each other as the controller provides all the software interlocks to prevent the heating being initiated when the cooling is running and vice versa. 5 Networking & Integration The FCU-503 controllers are supplied complete with BACnet MS/TP communications as standard, allowing for seamless integration onto building management or audio/visual systems. If a BACnet IP connection is required, Titan Products can supply powerful routing capabilities via the TP-NM-R range of NetMaster routers. The NetMaster routers allow the controller MS/TP BACnet information to be seamlessly routed onto a BACnet IP network to cater for further integration if required. 6 Remote Access & Time Scheduling The TP-NM-R/2000 NetMaster Router also caters for remote access when used in conjunction with the FCU-503 controllers and RDU remote and time scheduling downloadable app for smart phones and tablets. Downloadable via the Apple Play Store for ios devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices, the intuitive app allows the user to; Select their control zone and alter the control settings from inside or outside of the property. Setup & save flexible time schedules which can control individual rooms to alternative temperatures at different times of day. 7 The RDU-Touch in your hand The remote access app presents the user with a replica RDU-Touch screen for each controlled zone in the property. Fully synchronised with the on-wall RDU-Touch interfaces, the app allows the user to adjust the control settings of each room without having to get up from their favourite TV programme or before they set off from work. The app download also allows rooms to be easily renamed when controlling multiple rooms via the app. Simple to use time scheduling The remote access app also provides the occupant with an extremely intuitive, flexible time scheduling interface that allows multiple time schedules to be set for all controlled rooms in the property. This ensures that bedrooms and living areas can operate to different time schedules if required and the building is not controlling unoccupied or rented spaces when not required to do so. Each room has the ability to have multiple events set each day all controlling to different temperature set points if required.
