1 BROADBAND MODEMS RFP This is an RFP for Internet Access (Broadband Modems) for Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144. The proposal should include the costs for the modems and 1-year of Internet service for each. 40 broadband modems and 1-year of Internet service for each. The broadband modems should be able to allow multiple systems to connect to the Internet from remote locations and provide reliable access.

2 DIGITAL TRANSMISSION SERVICES RFP This is an RFP for Internet Access (Digital Transmission Services) for Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144. The proposal should include costs for interconnectivity for all district schools and buildings as well as Internet access for the same. Network service to interconnect of all 8 district buildings in order to provide Internet access. The buildings should appear to be segments on the same LAN using packetbased switching techniques. A Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) may be used to provide this service to the locations.

3 FIREWALL RFP This is an RFP for Internet Access (Firewall) for Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144. The proposal should include Network Firewall hardware. Provide a bid for the following hardware: An adaptive security Firewall appliance with 3 Gigabit LAN ports and VPN.

The proposal should include the costs for 3100 student accounts for one year Accounts for Students & Moderators 3100 Student Web 2.0 Tools Unlimited Storage for Student Accounts

5 VOIP RFP This is an RFP for Internet Access (VoIP) for Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144. The proposed solution should provide everything required for the VoIP system. The VoIP system will support the district including all schools as well as the district office. Provide a detailed solution and bid for the following: A hosted or hardware solution to provide VoIP services for the entire school district. Any solution needs to be able to utilize our interconnectivity between buildings (current service provided with AT&T OPT-E-MAN). While approximately 350 phones are currently being used, any solution should be able to accommodate an increase in phones. At this time, the district has 4 PRIs total. 2 PRIs are used for incoming and outgoing calls. 1 additional PRI is used for call forwarding. There are currently PoE connections wherever phones would be placed, the majority of those connections are on Cisco WS-CE500-24PC switches, but that may change.

6 WEB HOSTING RFP This is an RFP for Internet Access (Web Hosting) for Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144. The proposal should include all included costs of web hosting for the school district, which includes 8 schools as well as the district office. A complete web hosting solution for the school district. The solution should be manageable by district staff and readily accessible. The costs should include the annual hosting fee, as well as maintenance and support. The web hosting features should include the following: Ability to add/edit/delete pages, images, and files Calendar and Featured Events News and Announcements (RSS enabled) Staff Directory (searchable) Teacher Pages Photo Galleries Blogs
