28 TCOPY TCOPY is a new product to aid in customer tape migrations Category 2 product (bug fixes only) as an Exec component Available via download at no cost Supports: unlabeled, ASCII labeled and EBCDIC labeled tapes Copies tapes from one VOLSER to a different VOLSER Can create exact copies of an old tape to a new tape with the same VOLSER Needs tape_labeling_privileged account (PRIVAC) PRIVAC preserves original labels and copies the original labels intact to the new output volume PRIVAC bypasses Media Manager (MMGR) so that the STAR1100 database (TIF) remains unchanged The belief is that STAR1100 customers will change the target volume s density code (DENCOD) to reflect the target s mnemonic 2013 Unisys Corporation.
