6 REMOTE MANAGEMENT For multi-user sharing and control EXFO s IQS-600 rackmount platform and FTB-500 portable platform provide a simplified work environment for design and manufacturing test engineers, thanks to Windows XP operating system. It offers them the flexibility of running any Windows-compatible program such as Java, Virtual Network Computing (VNC), Remote Desktop, Web browser, etc., to remotely access test stations where multiple users can use and control different modules for different test applications.
