2 Research Highlight I am the pioneer of the technology called SNOW (Sensor Network Over White Space) which exploits the TV White Spaces for designing highly scalable, low-power, and widearea wireless sensor networks. I built CapNet (a real-time wireless sensor-actuator Network for data center power Capping) that provides the first proof of concept design for using low cost wireless for time-critical power management functionality in data center. I established the first real-time wireless scheduling theory for industrial multi-channel wireless mesh network by bridging wireless network and real-time scheduling domain. My multi-core real-time scheduling result for parallel tasks is regarded as one of the pioneering works in the Real-Time Parallel Computing literature which has inspired many follow-up research projects in the real-time systems community.
