6 OCS-NG400 The OCS-NG400 IP-based voice communications system, combining state-of-the-art technology with proven components and highly-intuitive user interfaces. It is a flexible and cost-effective solution for all size civil and military ATC voice communications needs. Overview The OCS-NG400 is based on industry standard voice-over-ip technology. It allows effective interconnection of multiple communication sources including radios (HF/VHF/UHF), telephones, and other similar systems (such as intercom systems, PA systems, legacy audio distribution systems). It allows the users to have integrated and seamless access to all of these resources to enable reliable air-to-ground (A/G) and ground-to-ground (G/G) communications. For ground-to-ground communications, our solution provides full range of features to meet demanding ATC scenarios to bridge the gap between conventional analog and digital communication assests and IP world. OCS-NG400 is built on a fully redundant IP LAN infrastructure to meet and exceed customer s availability needs. It is a scalable solution for nonblocking voice switching, based on IP network technology. With increasing adoption of EUROCAE ED-137 among vendors, our solution enables a future-proof investment and seamless interoperatbility between legacy and new generation IP systems. 3

7 System Components Touchscreen Operator Panel (CWP) Our CWP approach is a touch panel with highly intuitive, fully customizable user interface. GUI of the OCS-NG400 allows controllers to perform their routine operations with minimum actions. Layout designs can be easily adapted to the operational needs. Touchscreens are available in various sizes for optimal use with the CWP. Furthermore; in addition to daily tasks, our solution can easily be adapted to training scenarios with special provisions for additional audio interfaces. OCS-NG400 Radio-Over-IP Gateway The RIG-200 Radio Over IP Gateway converts necessary signals that are available on legacy equipment (audio, PTT, squelch, serial data) to industry standard IP format. Our radio gateway solution features a modular design approach to enable pay-as-you-grow scenarios while honoring strict redundancy and safety requirements. FPGA based architecture allows software based upgrade path to upcoming standards and new functionalities. In addition to audio interfaces, our modules feature programmable serial data interfaces, enabling remote control of the radios where required. Furthermore, these interfaces can also be used for integration with 3rd party systems. Native support for MIL-STD crypto devies are also provided. RIG-200S 4

8 OCS-NG400 Time Server Time Server An accurate time reference among all system components is critical for incident reporting and investigation.the time server provides all devices in the network with a highly accurate reference time over IP (namely NTP protocol). The input to the time server is a highly accurate time signal provided by its internal GPS module. Ethernet Switch Ethernet Switch Ethernet switches are used to connect OCS-NG400 components on the transport network level. Various models for different deployment scenarios are available. All switches are proven COTS products from leading manufacturers with state of the art redundancy options. Configuration Terminal Maintenance and Configuration Terminal The system used to configure, manage and monitor all the OCS-NG400 components in the system from a single central point. All critical services like user management, role management, numbering assignments, line configurations etc. are done through CMS System. TGW-NG200 TGW-NG200 Telephony Gateway Our telephony gateway converts analog and/or digitla PABX/PSTN extensions, as well as other legacy trunk interfaces into VoIP-based communications signals for call control and media information. These gateways allow air traffic controllers to communicate with interfaces cards of type E&M, FXS, FXO, LB, CB, ISDN, E1, MFC-R2 and other legacy formats. 5
