1 South Central Communications Inc. d/b/a SCC Networks The Iowa Utilities Board has de-tariffed rates in Local Exchange Tariffs and Intrastate Access Tariffs of non-rate regulated company s effective 01/29/06 in RMU The rule making is causing a re-write of Chapter 22 of the Iowa Utilities Boards Rules and Regulations and has specified that non-regulated utility companies shall not file their tariffs with the Board after the above date and shall remove all existing rates from Local Exchange Tariffs. Rates for Local Exchange services should be made available to customers from some other readily available source and should be maintained at Company Business Offices. The Rules, Regulations, and Definitions, specific to following Rate schedule will continue to be maintained in the Company s Local Exchange Tariffs until such time as the Board request they be removed. Since the Rates for service provided by Non-Rate Regulated Company s are not regulated and are de-tariffed they can be changed at any time. If the Company decides to raise the rates of any existing service, the Board must approve the Notification which is to be sent to customers advising them of such increase, and all Rules and Regulations specific to Customer Notifications in the Boards Rules and Regulations will apply. 1 P a g e
