Sixteen quick release precision sensors (other models with up to 96 sensors available) can be easily repositioned to inspect any combination of 96 or 384 block wells. The TAS system allows users to compare different cyclers to find out how the cyclers perform and what to change on the protocol to obtain a similar result on all systems. It is also designed for troubleshooting PCR experiments. The Windows compatible software is the ideal tool to validate the cycler and to set up cycler performance QC processes and SOPs. Actual well temperatures as well as minimum and maximum temperatures and temperature deltas are immediately displayed on the control module and the data is stored in the memory. On-Line Cycler Performance Monitoring Connecting the TAS to a PC allows live monitoring of the measured temperature. All sensor values are displayed real time as individually coloured temperature graphs. The data is GLP logged with time and date stamp. A set of analysis tools makes determination of cycler accuracy and homogeneity easy. Data collected by the TAS off-line can be transferred to the PC and analysed later.
