3 QUICK REFERENCE MANUAL SERVICE MODULE SVM100 QUICK REFERENCE MANUAL 1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 The SVM100 service module can be used for programming and displaying the actual values of the entire SCHNEIDER product range. It is ideally suited for fi eld use and guarantees the service technician maximum fl exibility. This manual only describes the general operation and use of the SVM100 service module. 4 QUICK REFERENCE MANUAL SERVICE MODULE SVM OPERATION The programming functionality of the SVM 100 service module is clearly structured. The necessary keys are described below. Selects the previous menu item + Value selection or value increment Selects the next menu item - Value selection or value decrement ENT Menu item selection, entry confirmation and selection of the previous (sub-) menu item SPACE Cancellation of zero-point calibration F1 F1...F10 Selection of a sub-menu item The red button function is selected by pressing the SHIFT key and the desired key together. Nearly every key on the service module has two labels, one with black and one with red text/icons. The SHIFT key activates the functions marked in red on the keys. If the SHIFT key is pressed and then a second key is pressed as well, the red key function is activated. On the numeric keypad, the red labels/ icons take precedence. Thus you can move up and down in the menu using the red cursor up arrow or the red cursor down arrow or the Page Up or Page Down keys, without having to hold down the SHIFT key. 2.1 DEVICE SELECTION At the top end of the service module is a plug for connecting the power supply and a cable with a plug for connecting the function display. Connect the service module to the power supply and connect the service module cable to the plug on the function display. When the supply voltage is connected to the service module, the display shows fi rst Self-test and then a selection menu with the supported devices (see Table 1). Select the connected device by pressing one of the function keys F1 to F8. The function keys F1 to F4 are shown on the fi rst display page of the service module and the function keys F5 to F8 on the second display page. To switch between the two pages, press the or key. After one of the keys F1 to F8 is pressed, the fi rst four items of the menu are displayed; for example, when the device LC100 is selected, these items are as follows: Actual value (flashing) Setpoint cbm/h Setpoint pa Delay time By pressing the red cursor down arrow you can move successively from the fl ashing item Actual value to the other three items in the display. In the same way, with the red cursor up arrow you can move successively from the last item to the fi rst. By pressing the Home key, you can jump to the fi rst item in the display, by pressing the END key you can jump directly to the last item in the display. The fl ashing item can be selected by pressing the ENTER key and can be changed using the + and Shift and - keys, whereby these keys have a repeat function. Once a value has been selected, pressing the ENTER key confirms and saves the value. The menu items then appear again in the display. Some menu items have submenu items, which can be selected via the function keys. Pressing the ENTER key always returns you to the menu. Pressing the Page Down key displays the next four menu items. Operation at user level 0 is intended for the end customer. It is not possible to switch directly from user level 0 to user level 1; this must be done by entering the following information: Press the START key. After the self-test, the display with the selection menu for the devices appears. Press SHIFT and F10 to enter the password and change the user level. Enter the following code number: You are now at user level 1. Programming is only possible at this user level.
