The pace-aving bookhelf deign with high protection clae, veratile control and programming capabilitie offer an optimal olution for all operating environment. Intallation, connection and commiioning procedure are extremely quick and convenient with intruction attached to the unit. Thank to an extremely effective deign, everything i included a tandard. The unit can be intalled on the wall without additional cabinet becaue of high protection clae. The RFI filter and brake chopper are alway integrated. The tandard unit fit almot everywhere in both indutrial and reidential area. The integrated AC choke i the mot effective way to protect the drive againt the overvoltage pike and to reduce the tre on upply tranformer, cable and fue. Convenient intallation and programming The intallation and programming i extremely quick and convenient with the help of the credit-card-ize Quick Guide. The programming i often jut a election of load type and fine-tuning of the motor nominal and peed. Although the Vacon i imple in contruction compared to other Vacon NX range, it i the mot flexible drive in it cla. The flexibility mean a wide range of control poibilitie, programmable feature, intallation poibilitie and modularity. The eay-to-ue PC tool can be ued e.g. for programming and parameter copying. Sometime it i poible to remove the PLC from the ytem by adding logic to the drive with the NC PC tool. The double rating of the Vacon and dynamic open loop vector control make the a perfect choice for all kind of load, from imple pump and fan to demanding material handling application. 3 deign & dimenion The mechanical deign i extremely compact. The IP54 unit in particular are the mallet AC drive on the market. All unit are uitable for both wall and encloure mounting with all neceary component: integrated EMC filter, AC choke, cable protection, dut and water protection. 6 vacon nxl control unit I/O expander board, fieldbu board The tandard I/O of the Vacon ha been optimized for typical control requirement. In addition to digital and analog input and output, RS485 i included a tandard. All input and output of the tandard I/O and option board are freely programmable. Both Analog Input can be programmed for V or 0(4)...20 ma ignal. Analog Input can alo be programmed a Digital Input. Standard I/O The tandard I/O can eaily and cot-effectively be extended with OPT-AA or OPT-AI board, if neceary. The OPT-AA i the mot effective way to add one more Relay Output, and the OPT- AI i normally ued when galvanically iolated motor thermitor connection i needed. 9 multi-control application The tandard Multi-Control Application oftware of the Vacon i extremely flexible and eay to ue. All input and output are programmable, and there i a full et of feature and poibilitie for ytem or proce control and protection. The default etting are very cloe to optimum, and the drive operate accurately enough without any programming. It till i recommended to check and fine-tune the motor nominal value to optimize the performance and motor protection. Programming can be made imply by uing the tart-up wizard feature of the diplay panel, programming parameter by parameter with diplay panel, or programming by the NCDrive tool.
