2 QuickMarque High Visibility Displays for Industry Visible up to 75' away Red or Tricolor LEDs Multiple line units Optional controller The QuickMarquee consists of a bright red or tricolor LED display in a NEMA 1/4 enclosure. The displays are available in several configurations including.1 or 4.8 inch high characters; 10, or characters per line; 1,, 4 or 8 lines; front only or back to back. The QuickMarquee is a slave display that uses a simple ASCII protocol to display messages from any intelligent ASCII device. The QuickMarquee can also be a slave to an Allen-Bradley DL or DL. When used with the optional marquee controller, messages can be created, stored and then triggered by any PLC via discrete I/O (binary or BCD) or serial ASCII commands. The QuickMarquees are also SERIES TWO compatible devices. The Marquee Controller gives a Marquee Display intelligence and greatly increases its functional capabilities. It removes the burden of message formatting and storage from the host computer or PLC and frees them up to perform their primary control functions. The controller can store up to 1,03 messages in its 3K of battery-backed CMOS RAM memory. It controls the message attributes and can drive up to 3 addressable Marquee Displays. To display messages, the host computer or PLC sends the controller appropriate message numbers along with any necessary variable data. The controller accepts either serial ASCII coded message triggers or parallel (BCD or Binary) message triggers.
