6 1. SCOPE 1.1 Scope. This standard covers insert arrangements for use with MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-C series A and MIL-C circular connectors. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 General. The documents listed in this section are specified in sections 3, 4, and 5 of this standard. This section does not include documents cited in other sections of this standard or recommended for additional information or as examples. Metric equivalents are given for general information only. c. Insert arrangements using multi-axial (i.e coax, twinax, shielded) contacts shall not be used in firewall connector applications.
