1 ECUMAXI 3.0 General The ECUMAXI 3.0 is a control unit for the use on utility vehicles and machines and can be used for safetyrelevant applications according to ISO25119 up to an AgPL C. The platform is based on CAN 2.0B and allows the implementation of different CANprotocols like CANopen or SoftSPS solutions according to IEC (Codesys). The communication with a virtual terminal like for eample BASICTerminal, BASICTerminal TOP or COMFORTTerminal is carried out as standard through the standardized ISOBUS (ISO 11783). The ECUMAXI is equipped with a central processing unit and up to three I/Oprocessors with flash memory. Software updates or configuration files can so be easily downloaded on the controller across the CANBus. Actuators and sensors are connected via cable loops with one of the three central plugs of the ECU. All in and outputs are diagnosable and protected against short circuits to ground or supply voltage. The supply voltage for the sensors is provided by the ECU at the central plug.
