CBL Electronics played a key role in the design and development of PCDU Exomars EGSE, where power distribution and control behaviour have to be verified. 4 02. HIGH power TESTer Ice Protection test System The test system manages electrical power up to 16Kw and has been used for blades de-icing systems. The Automatic Tester, designed and manufactured by CBL, simulates electric resistance of the blades to verify the proper functioning of de-icing protection system. This high complex Ice Protection Test system (IPS) is composed of Ice Protection Controller (IPC) and Ice Protection Distributor (IPD) Automatic testers. These testers are used for ATP, burn-in and qualification tests(single unit and overall system). The flexible design allows easy upgrades and customization. 6 04. HV BREAKDOWN TRACER-ATE High voltage / High accuracy tester The system tests the robustness and breakdown curve of high voltage electronic components. User-friendly software manages up to 32 sites allowing modular configuration. 7 05. catom COMPACT SERIES AUTOMATIC TEST ON MODULAR MAINFRAME Atom Compact series specifically suits burn-in test (parallel test on several units) or automatic test of medium to low complexity units. This test system can acquire and stimulate with analog and digital signals the Unit Under Test (UUT). Resources routing from/to the unit takes place through standard enclosures (type VPC ITA and Receiver) or through dedicated fixtures, i. e. with bed of nails contacts. Test execution and editing can be established by the user through the intuitive software interface both in interactive and automatic mode. On request it is possible to customize the interfaces, communication protocols, signal types and software development language. 8 06. tatom twin SERIES AUTOMATIC TEST ON MODULAR MAINFRAME Typical use for this model of the Atom family is the automatic test, ATP of very complex equipments, with the option of testing different type units at the same time. This test system is equipped with 8 Smart Breakout boxes which allow to monitor up to 1200 signals on single socket with interactive display of the under test signal. This test system can acquire/ stimulate the UUT (Unit Under Test) with analog and digital signals for burn-in test in environmental chamber. Resources connection from/to the unit takes place through standard enclosures (type VPC ITA and icon) or through dedicated fixtures, available also with bed of nails contacts. Test execution and editing can be established by the user through an intuitive software interface and can be done both in interactive and automatic mode Software gives the possibility to interface with the environmental chamber in order to ensure efficient management of UUT burn-in cycle thermal profile. On request customizations are possible on interfaces, communication protocols, signals type and software development language. 14 12. ELECTRONIC LOAD & SHORT CIRCUIT GENERATOR This electronic load is designed to fulfill testing of systems where fast reaction time is required. It is configurable for different voltages and current values. The equipment is assembled on a rackable 19. Overview The EL operates in different modes: Constant Current (CC), Constant Voltage (CV) Constant Resistance (CR), load step (up/down), single and continuous mode. A short Circuit Generator (SCG) galvanically isolated is also included in the same case to allow further protection and limitation current test. The EL can be controlled in manual or remote modes. Remote control is possible through USB connection, or through external analog programming 0-10 volts (BNC EXT PROG ). Programming and measuring information voltage and current are both shown on characters alphanumeric display and through remote control. Trigger signals are also available for short circuit activation or load variation. It is also shown a measure of the voltage. An intelligent cooling system is designed to reduce acoustic noise dependent on the temperature and the power dissipated. Max power limitation and thermal protection are also included. Customized solution of different configurations can be provided on request.

15 13. SOLAR ARRAY SIMULATOR Small power, high performance The CBL SAS FL solar panel simulators are designed to simulate small solar panels, with low power up to 100 watt. Each channel provides independent input and output, and series or parallel connections are possible. Technical features The system consists of modular hardware and easy programming software. SAS can be easily programmed through LCD display and pushbutton or through control software GUI interface. The system can manage complex simulation scenarios using internal flash. The software allows to load scenarios with up to 128 curves (I/V) for each SAS channel. Combination of hardware and software allows to create any condition that a space mission will be subjected to. Our simulators are particularly recommended for low power systems such as landers and rovers etc.

16 14. Current sense module Current sense up to 2 mhz bandwidth Two magneto resistive current sensors in one module configurable for different current ranges. Main features The module is divided in two independent channels current sensors with separate input and output. 17 15. POWER SWITCH BOARD 25 RL-CBL Power routing and sense This board has a 25 channels high current relay (DPDT). Sense resistor is available to measure current flowing on each power line. Easy connection and configuration. Overview POWER SWITCH BOARD 25 RL-CBL provides a fully cabled interface with common D-SUB interface in order to have the shortest time from specification definition to test equipment release. Normally common open and normally closed pins are available for each line and fully bidirectional. Current capability is limited by 50 poles D SUB connectors.
