6 Facility Counting: Utilizes USDS at entrance and exit only Facility signs at entrances Level Counting: Uses USDS at entrance and exit wired to CPs that communicate wirelessly to gateway USDS sensors positioned parallel to angled ramp provide the logic for counts on each entrance and level signs 5

7 Loop Detectors: An induction loop is an electromagnetic communication or detection system which uses a moving magnet to induce an electrical current in a nearby wire. Induction loops are used for detection of metal objects in metal detectors or vehicle presence indicators. When a vehicle enters the loop there is a decrease in inductance which triggers an electrical output signal (solid state) Utilizes dry contacts - Dry contacts can refer to a secondary set of contacts of a relay circuit which does not make or break the primary current being controlled by the relay. (No current) Use directional logic: Channels 1 and 2 consist of loops that determine a vehicles travel Used in surface lots or before concrete is poured (NO TENSION DECK!) Loops are spaced such the vehicle can span both loops Positioned one after the other (anywhere from overlapping to 6 ft. apart) When a vehicle enters the first (leading) loop, the loop goes into a pending state and as soon as the vehicle enters the second (trailing) loop, that channel will generate a directional output If the vehicle enters the first loop but never the second, the count is aborted and no data is recorded Connected to zone controller Dynamic LED Signage: Strategically integrated to wireless network design per zone, level, garage etc. Single stroke LED display standard Double stroke LED displays available for maximum visibility Off axis viewing to 170 Degrees, with MTBF rating of LED s to over 100,000 hours 24 Volt low voltage power operation 6
