1 Remote Telemetry Unit The NCC Series Remote Telemetry Unit provides cellular alarming, reporting, and operations logging. The product allows you to remotely monitor events on your mobile device and/or computer. Information is sent wireless over a cellular network from remote site(s) to you. Ideal for situations where radio communications are either not an option or too much of a hassle. Status updates are frequent and notifications for critical events are instantaneous. View digital and analog signals from the convenience of your mobile device and/or personal computer. Product Features Economical Data Plan ($19.99/mo.) Automatic updates every 1 to 4 minutes. Eliminate radio repeater stations with a cellular network. The NCC-1110 is an 8 Channel Unit and each input can be utilized for digital or analog signals as required. The unit requires connection to one of the available Transponder accessories; Indoor and Outdoor Transponders are available. Additional accessories, as listed in the Ordering Information Section, are available with the purchase of the NCC A User supplied, or purchased from Factory, Power Supply is required for operation.

2 Screenshots and Additional Information The free Harold Android Mobile App (Historical Alarming, Reporting, and Operations Logging Device) allows you to view real-time station details and provides additionally functionality for receiving and acknowledging alarms. With the Mobile App users can view and edit their duty status as well as view the duty status of other users in the same group, view acknowledged and unacknowledged alarms, view current real-time status of any NCC inputs, view communication status, and initiate a Test Alarm. All from the convenience of your mobile device. The desktop Historian is also free and allows users to view additional information including: Event Logs, Runtime and Cycle Trends, Station Communication Trends, Totalization Trends, Analog Value Trends. Data can be filtered by Time Stamp, Station, Description, Alarm Description, Event, Active Status, Acknowledged Satus, Acknowledgement ID, User who Acknowledged, Channel, On-time, and Off-time The Historian runs in Microsoft Excel. Eliminate the need for a telephone landline and radio infrastructure. The Transponder transmits and receives data to and from your network communicated by the Base Unit over a plug-in serial connection supplied as integral with each unit. Transponders are available for indoor and outdoor applications. Combination Power Supply & Uninterruptible Power Supplies are available as an accessory so that the unit can ride through short power interruptions. Additional options include NEMA 12 and NEMA 4X enclosed units as well as Solar Panels to avoid the need of a utility power source.

3 Ordering Information A complete assembly should include one item from each of the following rows. Depending on the application and scope of items purchased from the factory it may not be necessary to order one of each. At a minimum the NCC-1110 and either the NCC-1101 or NCC-1102 will be required. System is designed for and tested with the components listed and performance may be affected by substituting any of the indicated components. Consult Factory for assistance. 5 NCC-1110-M Details Transponder Connection Port: Used for connecting a Transponder. Both the NCC-1101 and NCC-1102 come, out of the box, with a factory cable. The end of the cable has a 90 degree plug for connecting to the NCC-1110-M Base Unit. Communication Status LED: Illuminated solid green when connected to the server. Illuminated solid amber when cell service is detected but unit is not connected to the server. Flashing amber when no cell service is available. Flashing red when Transponder is not detected. Modbus Port: Used for Modbus communications to a PLC or Touchscreen. Also used to install firmware updates. Power Status LED: Illuminated solid green when line power is detected and DC supply voltage is within normal range. Illuminated solid red when line power is lost. Flashes red when low-battery is detected. Power Connection: The base unit power connection is a female receptacle that accepts a male plug. Factory power supplies include the required plug. RTU ID: This is the unit serial number. NCC-1110-M Pinout The below diagram shows 11-Pin base. This plugs into any, properly rated, standard 11-Pin relay base.

6 Wiring and Connection Diagrams Below are typical wiring diagrams for the NCC NCC INPUT Terminals are 1 through 8. Every input can be used in the manner described by Examples 1 through 4. V+ must be the same DC supply that is providing power to the NCC Unit. Example 1: Dry Contact Example 3: Analog (Voltage) Example 2: Run/Fail Combination Example 4: Analog (Current) Terminal 9: NCC Output Terminal 10: Acknowledge/Reset/Disarm Terminals 9 may be used as a customer output. It is a sinking output with a maximum load of 40mA, 0.5 Watts. The applied power must be the same DC supply that is providing power to the NCC Unit. Terminal 10 should be wired as depicted to the left. The ACK/RESET Pushbutton should be a momentary type. The DISARM switch should be a maintained type. A pilot light, which illuminates on disarm, is suggested.
