6 CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION. INTRODUCTION HA05 is a single door controller built-in a proximity reader and connect an external reader for exit reader. Basically HA05 dedicated design for small and medium size companies its access control, time attendance, car park and patrol system. It function including on-line and stand-alone operating structure in one unit that is easy for installer to keep stock and maintain. The whole system is connecting up to 99 units of HA05 via RS85 interface at on-line operation mode. And HA05 has to operate with PC software to download cardholder with parameters and upload all of even data for management..2 FEATURES. Proximity type reader EM or HID or Mirfare format option, read range up to 0cm(Mirfare read range up to 5 cm only) 2. On line and stand-alone mode selectable.. Memory capacity stored up to,000 cardholders and,500 transactions. Reordering data 90% full indication.. Communication interface RS22c for single unit of HA05 and RS85 for networking configuration. 5. Communication baud rate and reader address can be programmed via keypad. 6. 13 2.8 HA05 RS85 interface with HP506 to PC diagram The default setting of communication interface of HA05 is RS85 so any of installation not needs to screw out PCB to select J and J2. 15 Chapter III MAIN FUNCTION DESCRIPTION. The term of function... Basic operation HA05 system use non-contact, proximity RF technology, just present the proximity card approach the main unit to access the door. Any of proximity cards present to the reader will record its events into memory buffer and retrieved back to host by PC program...2.down load parameters from host PC to reader HA05 is on line type access control all of cardholders and some of parameters are settled by PC application program.... Door access modes: three door access modes selectable: () Card data only --- place the card approach the main unit to access the door. (2) Card data or with main password or personal password --- place the card approach the main unit AND then key-in the main password or personal password to access the door. () Card data or main password --- place the card approach the main password to access the door.... Anti-pass back Normally anti-pass back function used in car park system. And now some of offices have highly urity restricted area control need to define with the anti-pass back function. That means you have to hold your proximity card in/out the gate or door. If any once of you go through the gate did not present the card next time not allow you come in again. So in the anti-pass back mode you have to present you card whatever in or out of the gate. This even will record into HA05 transaction memory buffer...5. Anti-duress With the anti-duress function provided, you no longer kidnap by thief. Key-in a preset code to the rear of the regular password with 9, the duress relay will be activated to drive the require device, other then the door opened normally and this even will record into HA05 transaction memory buffer...6. ARM/DISARM HA05 equipped a guard relay, which can arm or disarm the connected urity system. Use guard password or guard password plus card data to activate this function, and guard password or regular access procedure to deactivate this function and this even will record into HA05 transaction memory buffer...7. Patrol function This function provides the facility to monitor the watchman who patrols a certain district. HA05 equipped a patrol a relay which can activated the connected recording system, you cannot access the door neither use the patrol card or HEART ENTERPRISE CO., LTD.

16 patrol password and this even will record into HA05 transaction memory buffer..8. Holiday schedule Holiday schedule is one of main functions of HA05. Holiday schedule is for user s defined which date available to access the door. HA05 will refer preset 2 months schedule and control user who can access the door. If user s database not allows enter in holiday HA05 will automatically deny access when you present cards. This even will record into HA05 transaction memory buffer...9. Time zone Time zone means user what time can be accessed the door. HA05 have 0 time zone can be preset and any ID have one of time zone parameter can be selected. That is every time you present your card HA05 will check and verify ID, Holiday and Time zone met with preset parameter. This even will record into HA05 transaction memory buffer...0. Invalid card That means this ID card not available or format unmatched. This even will record into HA05 transaction memory buffer....sub reader HA05 can be connected with HR0 or HID 26 bits WIEGAND reader or other brand WIEGAND reader for exit readers. This even will record into HA05 transaction memory buffer...2. Version check You can see the version/type, device number and communication BUAD rate.
