5 Access Easy Controller Welcome en 5 Welcome We're glad that you have chosen Bosch Security Systems Access Easy Controller System for your access control needs. This quick user guide supplements the user manual and is not intended to be used as a standalone document.. Access Easy Controller Architecture Each AEC system is able to connect up to a maximum of 6 readers and inputs/outputs (excludes the inputs/outputs required for door strike, exit button and door sensor). Henceforth, a total of x Reader boards and x I/O boards can be deployed. However, each convertor board can only support up to a maximum of boards(it can be a mixture of Reader board or I/O board). The following shows an example of a fully configured AEC system. The AEC utilize RS85 mulit-drop communication loop to link up the Main Controller to the rest of the AEC Expansion units. The convertor board is the critical component as it provides the RS85 communication between each unit. Therefore, each enclosure need one convertor board and the maximum distance between the Main controller to the last AEC expansion unit should not be more than 000m(00ft). The following table shows the maximum wiring distance that is recommended.
