1 Opportunities offered by the EC-contract EURONS The EUROpeanNuclearStructure project an Integrated Infrastructure Initiative within FP6 Contract RII3-CT The main goals of EURONS are : to provide access to world-class research infrastructures; to ensure that the European nuclear structure community concentrates on the most prominent Joint Research Activities for further improvements and extensions of the infrastructure facilities; to promote the most needed R&D, as identified by the community, combined with a rather rapid applicability; to focus on activities that are in general relevant to more than one facility.
