2 EACP for EUROPEAN AEROSPACE CLUSTER PARTNERSHIP 40 AEROSPACE CLUSTERS 15 COUNTRIES 1 MISSION In order to successfully compete on a global level, it has become crucial for Europe to actively foster its innovative potential and to collaborate among regions and industry clusters. The European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) provides a permanent platform for mutual exchange, policy learning, and cooperation to achieve high-level performance among European aerospace clusters. EACP focuses on the exchange of experiences concerning both cluster policy and the implementation of effective solutions needed to address various challenges faced by the partners. After 8 years of existence, EACP currently constitutes a network of 40 aerospace clusters from 16 European countries, thus largely covering the entire aerospace value chain in Europe.

5 EACP ABROAD ACTIVITIES AND BUSINESS FROM REAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR AEROSPACE DEVELOPMENTS OBJECTIVE: EACP goes International! in order to deepen links between EACP members and foreign regions insert European SMEs on the international scene foster new international businesses and/or the emergence of international R&T cooperation participate to b2b activities with third countries involving the SME members participate to international cluster matchmaking events Define six markets of strategic relevance for the entire EACP-network: Potential benefit for SMEs (both sides Europe and international) Existing collaborations and level of trust between clusters Potential for enhancement of partnerships of all EACP members Exemplary coverage of the different motivations of internationalization
