The current guides, now with three publications, have provided 30 percent energy reduction guidance for the following types of buildings: Small retail buildings Small office buildings K 12 school buildings Simply click on this link to go to the download page. These free electronic books are being made available in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy, the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, the American Institute of Architects and the U.S. Green Building Council. ASHRAE also has sent free print copies of the Advanced Energy Design Guide for K 12 Schools to more than 14,000 school systems in the United States as part of the Society s effort to advance energy efficiency in schools.
