8 etranslation building block a central machine translation service run by Directorate- General for Translation (DGT) it provide machine translation services for public administrations and public online services in various domains/sectors it is available via a web- user interface and an API etranslation service is intended for the following types of users: Service providers: European and national public administrations interested in integrating machine translation in their digital services to guarantee their services are supported in all the official languages of the EU Translators in EU institutions and in national public administrations, to facilitate their day- to- day work Non- translating staff in EU institutions and in national public administrations to deal with documents in languages they do not master and facilitate cross- border information exchange 8

22 IADAATPA (Intelligent, Automatic Domain Adapted Automated Translation for Public Administrations) The action will incorporate a series of state- of- the- art domain- adapted Machine Translation engines based on statistical and neural networks which will be deployed and tested by the IADAATPA Public Administrations early adopters in Spain, the Republic of Ireland and Latvia. 22

European Language Resource Infrastructure ELRC- SHARE Repository is a centralised platform (based on META- SHARE package) The objective of the ELRI project is: to deploy a network that enables accessible, secure and reliable sharing of Language Resources by different stakeholders at EU level and promotes its uptake and growth. The focus will be the language resources whichare produced by translation centers and public institutions in Europe, aiming to render these data available for the DGT and thus, for all related DSIs requiring data to customize and improve the CEF Automatic Translation (AT) to their service. 24

25 ERLI versus ELRC- SHARE Repository The project targets the deployment of a centralized Language Resource sharing infrastructure for all the Translation Centres providing translations and derived materials such as translation memories to the respective nationaladministrations.
