4 PHI is one of the first multi-jurisdictional utilities to implement a comprehensive AMI program across its operating companies In 2007, PHI filed its Blueprint for the Future in each of its 5 regulatory jurisdictions that included AMI PHI launched its AMI program in Delaware in 2008 with the vision of increasing customer satisfaction, empowering customers to make more informed energy decisions and improving reliability and services In 2009, PHI received $100 M in grant funding from the DOE to expand its AMI program to its Washington D.C and Maryland territories. Pending approval for Delmarva Power Maryland No approval in NJ to install AMI To date, PHI has replaced approximately 655,000 of its 1.3 million electric and gas meters with deployment expected to complete by December 2012 Additionally, to date, 385,000 meters have been activated to support automated meter reading and additional customer benefits While PHI has achieved many major AMI goals in the past four years, 2012 is a milestone year as they complete meter installation, make significant progress with meter activation, and launch the Dynamic Pricing Program. 4
