2 EOH Carrier Internet Overview EOH Carrier s Internet transit is fully protected, utilising multiple data centers, undersea cables and upstream providers, to ensure that we deliver the fastest and most reliable services. Clients can have Internet transit routes available to them in JHB, DBN, PE and CPT. For diversity, clients can connect into our network in all major data centres in South Africa. Solutions EOH Carrier EOH Carrier was one of the first to develop an independent 1st Tier network in South Africa, with one of the largest privately owned Metro Ethernet Networks in greater Johannesburg. We offer real choice and flexibility and have established our core breakout nodes and delivery thereof in vendor neutral hosting facilities across the country. EOH Carrier has the capabilities to design, implement and manage networks of any scale with a direct national and international footprint, as well as multiple international upstream partners. Local Internet Transit The EOH Carrier National Internet network is based on a distributed peering architecture between Johannesburg and Cape Town. It serves over 8Gbps of data into the South African market, making EOH Carrier one of the larger content providers in South Africa. Our national network design ensures that should any local routes or peers fail, national restoration of services will occur through our national fibre network. This allows us to provide the highest SLAs available for these routes. International Internet Transit EOH Carrier has a presence in Telehouse East in London and in Equinix AM1 in Amsterdam. We will provide full international transit routes from South Africa, providing international cable diversity (SEACOM, WACS, SAT-3 and EASSy) and upstream diversity (Level 3, LINX and GTT) as well as direct interconnects into AMS-IX and DE-CIX (2016). Blended Internet Transit EOH Carrier s Blended Internet allows clients to use both local and international Internet transit, as described above. Clients may use the full port size for either local or international, or a combination of the two. 95 th Percentile Billing 95 th percentile or burstable billing allows usage to exceed a specified threshold for brief periods of time without the financial penalty of purchasing a higher CIR. For example: should the requirement be for a 20Mbps link, a 40Mbps port will be configured (double the commitment capacity). You will then be billed the agreed upon price for the 20Mbps and any utilisation over the 20Mbps, measured at 95th percentile, will be billed at an additional 20%.

3 EOH Carrier Layer 2 Connectivity Overview This wholesale access service, provides metro and long-haul connectivity. With transmission speeds from 10Mbps up to 10Gbps it delivers point-to-point Layer 2 connectivity. Solution National L2 Connectivity The EOH Carrier national network is based on the deployment of a 10Gbps, SDH-based, national ring. All routes are completely diverse, offering the highest levels of redundancy. The network breaks out in the following regions: Johannesburg (Teraco) Cape Town (Teraco) Durban (Teraco) Port Elizabeth Bloemfontein This will allow our wholesale clients to build and design national redundancy, Internet drop-off points and MPLS nodes in every major city in South Africa. International L2 Connectivity EOH provides a range of international services. These include the following hand-off options: SDH or EoSDH (STM1, STM4, STM16, STM64) Layer 2 (Ethernet) Clients with their own POPs in Europe can connect to us in Telehouse East in London or in Equinix AM1 in Amsterdam, where we can deliver their SDH or L2 services to them. We use our international partners to reach clients outside of these POPs. EOH Carrier provides the option of taking a national super core ring on this network of 0.5Gbps upwards, with equal size links between each of these locations in a closed loop, and with network breakout points in all regions.

4 EOH Carrier Wireless Access Wireless represents the most flexible service option in the industry, with fast turnaround times and good coverage in most metro areas. It can be deployed in days rather than months and represents a great stopgap for primary fibre-based solutions. The EOH Carrier last mile network, an extension of our highly successful fibre network, provides an excellent last mile technology option for corporates and ISPs alike. One unique aspect of the EOH Carrier deployment of wireless access is through the high-site residing directly on the EOH NS fibre network. In the large majority of wireless deployments, there is a single hop between the client and high-site, directly onto the EOH fibre infrastructure thus negating multiple hops between high-sites and reduction of jitter and latency. Using top-of-the-range technologies to deploy and deliver wireless last mile, our wireless solution supports many ISPs connecting their networks to their clients or back to their aggregation points such as Teraco. EOH Carrier Metro Ethernet Fibre access The EOH Carrier Metro Fibre Network extends to most major metropolitan areas and provides access to the highest number of major industry touch points for Internet providers in South Africa. As part of our fully meshed metro rings, these touch points (Data Centres) are available through a fully diverse fibre architecture, ensuring maximum uptime and availability. EOH Carrier has partnered with multiple fibre vendors, such as DFA, Neotel, Telkom, Link Africa, Metrofibre Networks etc. POPs available on this network (99.9% SLA) include: Teraco (NAP Africa) JHB, CPT, DBN JINX, CINX, DINX Internet Solutions Rosebank Continuity SA JSE Other Data Centres (Hetzner, Bytes, BCX, Neotel, IS, Vodacom, MTN) EOH Carrier provides wireless ISPs with the ability to use our wireless backhaul directly from the high-site to Teraco on a Layer 2 basis. EOH Carrier Wholesale Voice Termination EOH Carrier has established voice interconnects with all the major telecommunications providers, including Telkom, MTN, Vodacom and Cell C. These interconnects allow EOH Carrier to deliver voice inbound and outbound services at very cost-effective rates. EOH Carrier allows other ISPs to benefit from these interconnects by charging an interconnect + rate on minutes terminated on a SIP trunk between the ISP and EOH Carrier.
