TT Connect sees the partnership with the HOA as a 20 Year long investment. Allows residents to keep their ISP when they move to another estate/area. Reduce costs and damages to the estate, by providing a complete infrastructure for all communication requirements. Having an open access fibre service provider prevents other service providers from trenching within the estate, that means less damage and disruption. PtP technology provides symmetrical bandwidth (equal bandwidth for upstream/ downstream) which is critical for some applications like HD Video Conferencing, Peer-to-Peer file sharing, etc. P2P Technology is a standard technology and the bandwidth can be limited/ controlled per port and hence each house can have a bandwidth plan tailored to its requirements.

10 Network Methodology Our design offers flexibility for the adoption of new technologies e.g. DSTV, whilst PON architecture is not. PtP is a one to one service, whilst PON is a one to many service. There is no contention on the TT Connect network right up to the data centre, where the ISP takes over.
