7 The mission of the Nebraska Energy Code Compliance Collaborative is to: Facilitate statewide compliance with the Nebraska Energy Code, and local energy codes, through a collaborative effort of stakeholders; Coordinate actions and policies affecting energy code compliance; Identify and prioritize steps needed to achieve full compliance with building energy codes; and Serve as a reliable source of information on energy code compliance.
8 We strive to assure that municipalities, builders, designers, lenders, appraisers, consumers, policymakers, and other stakeholders have the knowledge and tools they need to evaluate and assign value to building energy efficiency and energy code compliance.
