6 I-TAC Fully equipped and functional wet chemistry and materials laboratory for chemical preparation including fume cupboards and glove boxes; Multi-user areas with basic equipment including balances, ph meters, ultrasonic baths and microscopes; A preparation laboratory includes small workshop facilities, furnaces, cutting, lapping and polishing equipment.

8 I-TAC Bio Fully equipped and functional for biological preparation including; Multi-user areas with basic equipment including balances, ph meters, microwave, drying cabinet, autoclaves and deionised water; A wide range of instrumentation suitable for the study of organic and microbiological specimens is available including devices for high performance liquid chromatography, UV-VIS spectrophotometry, fluorimetry and a fully equipped protein crystallisation suite.

10 Optional Extras High-end analytical instrumentation laboratories are available in both I-TAC buildings. Also a Refrigerated Laboratory, Level 2 Biological Containment, X-Ray Laboratories and a Protein Crystallography Suite. Imaging laboratory. Fully equipped and functional laboratory for surface science and imaging available to all I-TAC users; SEM, TEM, AFM Optical Microscopes.
