4 Enhancements to Security The access code (password) size increased to 64 The password generation scheme is enhanced to allow the customer to use their own SQL code when building default composite passwords Option to generate a random password Customers now have the ability (using SHP keys) to grant end users the option to change passwords through the web interface. allow the user to change their own password allow administrative users to change other users passwords Course ID Preparation for Internationalization Database fields were re-sized to handle larger character strings, mostly name and address field changes The Banner integrated interface was modified to accommodate the new field sizes. 7 Web Interface Course ID Web Interface Course ID Bridge Performance improvements in data Bridge Increased the maximum number of records bridged in one call to 500 (previously 256). Only the specific record types that have changed for a particular student are moved (not all data for that student). More efficient delete/insert process used when loading student data. Course ID

8 System Webrestart now performs a shpparse in case the SHPCFG file was changed but no shpparse was run. Webrestart now deletes passports created prior to the current date in order to cleanup the shp-passport-mst SHP scripts are no longer stored in the database, but are delivered to the app/shpscripts directory.
