1 LibPAS Graphs Graphic drill-downs are available in the Table, Trend/PI, Trend, Period Comparison, and PI Gap Report Types. Graph/PI and Summary Graph Report Types were designed specifically as graph reports. Any of the graphs can be saved or copied and used in offline documents/reports. Right-click the image and select either Save image as... or Copy image. In addition, most Report Types feature an option to download the LibPAS report data to Excel by selecting the Excel icon. Custom graphs can then be created in Excel.

2 Table Report with Embedded Graphs The Table report (below) presents the data in columns for each selected PI relative to the locations returned/identified in the first column and the chosen reporting period. columns of data can be viewed graphically when a graph icon is offered at the bottom of the column. Select Choice PIs (Questions) select choices offered at input drill-down to summary bar graph and table Numeric value PIs drill-down to rank ordered bar chart view data ranked from greatest (top) to least value (bottom) login location s bar will be highlighted in another color emphasizing rank among the other libraries Alternate pie-chart view 2 5 select options required

3 Trend/PI with Embedded Graphs The Trend/PI report (below) presents the data in individual tables for each selected PI relative to the locations returned/identified in the first column and the chosen range of reporting periods. This tabular data can be viewed graphically as bar whisker charts (10 or more records) or line charts (9 or less records). Select the graph icon to drill down to the graph view. A bar-whiskers graph (below-left) will appear if 10 or more locations are included in the trend report, and a line graph (below-right) will be displayed if 9 or less are included. The bar-whiskers graph shows for each period the lowest to highest value for the range of values, the average value (tick mark between lowest and highest value), as well as the 25th to 75th percentile range (pink area) where 50% of values are found.

4 Trend Report with Embedded Graphs The Trend report (below) presents the data in a table with sections for each selected PI relative to the Libraries returned/identified in the first column and the chosen range of reporting periods. Note: Collection group names can be included in the report to further section the report. Each row in the data table can be viewed graphically as bar chart Trend drill-down graphs depict the trend for the selected location across the selected periods. In Trend Reports the pink background indicates the average at its right edge. Bars in blue are above the average and bars in red are below the average value

5 Period Comparison Report and Embedded Graphs The Period Comparison report (below) presents the data in a table with sections for each selected PI relative to the locations returned/identified in the first column and the two chosen periods of data to be compared. Each column in the data table can be viewed graphically as bar charts Ranked bar charts for the data in column for the subject period Gap comparison bar charts show the difference between the selected two periods Ranked bar chart depict library reported values in order from greatest to least Gap Comparison Bar Charts The double bar chart graph depicts the values for the two selected periods from each location included in the output. The gap difference graph displays the libraries with the largest percentage change at the top and the lowest percentage change at the bottom.

6 PI Gap Report and Embedded Graphs The PI GAP report (below) presents the data in a table with sections for each selected pair of PIs comparing the data relative to each location returned/identified in the first column and for the chosen period. Each column in the data table can be viewed graphically as bar charts Ranked bar charts for the data in column for the subject PI Gap comparison bar charts show the difference between the selected pairs of PIs Ranked bar chart depict library reported values in order from greatest to least from the selected column Gap Comparison Bar Charts The double bar chart graph depicts the values for the two selected PIs in the section from each location included in the output. The gap difference graph depicts the difference in PI values for each location. Negative = Red bars; Positive = Blue bars.

7 Graph/PI Report The Graph/PI report presents each of the selected PIs in a bar chart depicting the PI values for each location returned in the report. Graph/PI reports can be sorted in an ascending or descending order by choosing the sort direction in the Report Settings. An option to include an overlay (the green scale/line) is available under the Overlay header in the Report Settings. When an overlay is included the scale for the overlay is displayed at the top of the graph, in green, and the scale for the bar chart is at the bottom, in blue.

8 Summary Graph Report Summary graph reports display the data for all selected locations. The graphs indicate the minimum value, maximum value, average, as well as a red indicator which highlights where the majority of the results fall. The summary values; Total, Responses (N), Avg, Max, Min, Median, 25 th Percentile and 75 th Percentile can be included in the output by selecting one or more options from the Options tab of the Report Settings screen. 25th Percentile Range 75th Percentile
