Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio BankRec Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus The most up-to-date compatibility information is on the Product Compatibility Info link under Support at including compatibility with ACCPAC Plus. Adagio BankRec is NOT compatible with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Job Costing. Destination Drive When installing Adagio at a site running ACCPAC Plus and you will continue to run ACCPAC Plus, you should install Adagio to the same drive on which programs for that product are found. Otherwise other drives can be used. Using with existing ACCPAC Plus databases If you are using ACCPAC Plus and you wish to use Adagio with the existing ACCPAC Plus data, choose the path to your ACCPAC Plus data when creating or opening databases for Adagio. EZFile Directories Dialog If this is your first time creating or opening an Adagio database, the EZFile Directories dialog box will appear. This dialog box requires you to complete two fields to indicate the location of some required system files. Adagio will attempt to automatically select the locations of the files discussed below for you. Once this information is entered for one Adagio database, it will be used for all further Adagio modules that use the same path and data extension. Currency path. The currency path must contain files called MCCODES.LD4 and MCDEF.LD4. If you are running ACCPAC Plus, those files are usually located in your \ASP directory. For example, if ACCPAC Plus is installed on your hard drive, you would generally find those files in C:\ASP. If you are using ACCPAC Plus, all Adagio and ACCPAC Plus products should have the same currency path. If you attempt to select a path in which the above-mentioned files are not found, you will get an error message. Select the path again using the browse button. Adagio installs currency files in the \SOFTRAK\SYSTEM directory. These files should not be used unless you cannot find the currency files used by your ACCPAC Plus data. EZTasks path. If you are using ACCPAC Plus, the EZTasks path must be the same as it is for ACCPAC. As with the currency path, this is generally your \ASP directory. All Adagio products and ACCPAC Plus must use the same EZTasks path. If this is not correct in a multi-user environment, data corruption may result. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 2 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio Inventory Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control and most third party DOS applications that interface to Plus I/C has been maintained except as described below. While it may be possible to continue to run Plus I/C on your Adagio Inventory 8.1A database, it is recommended all processing be done in Adagio Inventory. Adagio Inventory is not compatible with Plus I/C if Adagio JobCost is used. You cannot print the physical inventory worksheet in Plus I/C then edit the physical inventory in Adagio Inventory, or vice versa. You must print the worksheet in Adagio Inventory if you plan to edit the physical inventory in Adagio Inventory or print and post the reconciliation. All audit list reports cannot be printed in Plus I/C for transactions posted in Adagio and vice versa. Shipments should not be entered, posted or imported with Plus I/C. ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 7.0A: Adagio Inventory 8.1A is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 7.0A. However, Adagio Inventory will convert an ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 7.0A database to a compatible format. After conversion, you will no longer be able to use ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 7.0A on the database. ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 6.5A: Adagio Inventory 8.1A converts the History Transaction file used in earlier versions, including ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control. Once converted, the History Transaction file is no longer compatible. Therefore, the Evaluation and Client Not for Resale (NFR) versions must not be used directly on live databases by sites running ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control. You should make a copy of your live data to evaluate Adagio Inventory. Contact your dealer or consultant for details on creating a copy of your live data. Plus I/C 6.5 will open and work with a converted database. However, the converted history transactions will no longer be accessible to the Transaction History report. New transactions posted to history in Plus I/C will get moved to the Adagio Inventory history file. The next time the database is opened with Adagio Inventory after posting in Plus I/C the message, "There are historical item transactions to retrieve. Do you want to retrieve these transactions" will be displayed. The transactions should be retrieved at that time so that the Transactions History report, Transaction History Inquiry and View Items with Sales and Costs are up to date in Adagio Inventory. If you post transactions in Plus I/C, you must print and clear audit lists there as well. History will not get updated until you do. Printing and clearing in Adagio Inventory works off of different audit files, so there is no way to lose data and no way to get duplicate data. After clearing audit Softrak Systems Inc. Page 4 of 33

lists in Plus I/C, the next time you start Adagio Inventory, it will retrieve history transactions from Plus history file (as described above). If you have purchase orders created in an ACCPAC Plus IC 6.5A database, you will want to complete them in ACCPAC Plus IC 6.5A. ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 6.1B: Earlier versions of Adagio Inventory were compatible with ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 6.1B. Adagio Inventory 8.1A is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 6.1B. However, Adagio Inventory will convert an ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 6.1B database to a compatible format. After conversion, you will no longer be able to use ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control 6.1B on the database. If you have purchase orders created in an ACCPAC Plus IC 6.1B database, you will no longer be able to access them after conversion. Therefore, all purchase orders must be completed and deleted in ACCPAC Plus IC 6.1B, before you convert. If you have a multi-currency 6.1B database, you must also complete and delete all receipts in ACCPAC Plus IC 6.1B before converting, as well as all purchase orders. You must also print and clear the Receipts Audit List. You must print and clear the Stock Transfers Audit List in Adagio Inventory 6.8B or earlier, or in ACCPAC Plus IC 6.1B, before converting. ACCPAC Plus Order Entry: Adagio Inventory 8.1A is compatible with ACCPAC Plus Order Entry. When the Invoice and Credit Note Audit List reports are printed and cleared (usually during Day End) transactions are written to the Plus I/C transaction history file. These transactions will be moved to the Adagio Inventory history file by Adagio Inventory. After purging the audit lists, the next time the database is opened with Adagio Inventory the message, "There are historical item transactions to retrieve. Do you want to retrieve these transactions" will be displayed. The transactions should be retrieved at this time so that the Transactions History report, Transaction History Inquiry and View Items with Sales and Costs are up to date in Adagio Inventory. ACCPAC Plus Job Costing: Adagio Inventory 8.1A continues to support ACCPAC Plus Job Costing. Third-party products: Third-party products that read transaction history for inquiry or reporting purposes are no longer compatible with Adagio Inventory. Third-party products that write to the history file remain compatible unless they also read history for inquiry or reporting purposes. Transactions written to the Plus I/C transaction history file will be retrieved by Adagio Inventory as described above for Order Entry. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 5 of 33

Report Tables Drive During installation you will be asked for the Report Tables Drive. The report tables drive defaults to the drive on which ACCPAC Plus or other Adagio programs are found. The Report Tables Drive should be the same for all Adagio products; additionally, if ACCPAC Plus is installed, it should be the same as the drive where your ACCPAC Plus programs are installed. The report tables drive is the drive containing the \QRASP directory. This directory contains the tables used by Adagio applications and Crystal Reports for Adagio to print reports. The report tables are in this directory for legacy reasons this directory is also the location of tables and programs used by the Quik Reports for DOS. Page 6 of 33

Older Style Files in ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control If you open an existing ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control database with Adagio Inventory, it may need to update older style files and you will see the following message: "Older style ISAM file(s) have been detected. These files must be updated before the database can be used by Adagio Inventory. The update should only take a few seconds. To update these files now press Yes, to exit without update press No." Updating the files will not affect the operation of ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control. However, you are given the option to cancel the update to allow you to make a backup of your data. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 7 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio Invoices NOTE: Adagio Invoices 9.0A and Adagio Receivables 9.0A or later are not compatible with ACCPAC Plus. Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus Adagio Invoices 9.0A databases must not be opened with earlier versions of Adagio Invoices or Quik Invoice Plus for DOS. This will corrupt the database. The most up-to-date compatibility information is on the Product Compatibility Info link under Support at including compatibility with ACCPAC Plus. ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable Adagio Receivables 9.0A data is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable. After data conversion to Adagio Receivables 9.0A, ACCPAC Plus A/R will not open the database and will display the error This data is for a newer version of Accounts Receivable. The Adagio Receivables database will not be harmed. However, to prevent Plus A/R from being run accidentally, you may want to rename the \ARASP folder to \ARASP.renamed. Destination Drive When installing Adagio at a site running ACCPAC Plus and you will continue to run ACCPAC Plus, you should install Adagio to the same drive on which programs for that product are found. Otherwise other drives can be used. Upgrading to Adagio Invoices from Quik Invoice Plus for DOS Adagio Invoices is no longer compatible with Quik Invoice Plus for DOS. However, Adagio Invoices 9.0A will convert Quik Invoice Plus databases (although not very old versions). Once the database is converted you must not attempt to open it with Quik Invoice Plus for DOS. Opening an Adagio Invoices 8.0A or higher database with Quik Invoice Plus for DOS corrupts the database. For this reason, the Adagio Invoices install renames the Quik Invoice Plus program files directory (QIASP) to prevent you from inadvertently corrupting your Adagio Invoices data. The install renames QIASP to QIASP.renamed. If you need to use Quik Invoice Plus on other databases, you must rename the directory back to QIASP and you must not use Quik Invoice Plus on Adagio Invoices databases or you will corrupt your data. Note that installing the Evaluation version of Adagio Invoices does not rename the directory. Adagio Invoices 9.0A is not compatible with DataCare for DOS. Adagio DataCare must be 8.1A or higher. 9 EZFile Directories Dialog If this is your first time creating or opening an Adagio database, the EZFile Directories dialog box will appear. If you are running ACCPAC Plus, those files are usually located in your \ASP directory.for example, if ACCPAC Plus is installed on your hard drive, you would generally find those files in C:\ASP. Page 9 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio JobCost Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus Adagio JobCost is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Job Costing. Converting ACCPAC Plus databases Adagio JobCost converts ACCPAC Plus Job Costing databases to a compatible format. After conversion, ACCPAC Plus Job Costing can no longer access the database. Therefore, make sure all postings are complete in ACCPAC Plus Job Costing prior to conversion to Adagio JobCost. After converting ACCPAC Plus Job Costing, you must also convert your AR and AP databases for use by Adagio JobCost. ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable can no longer be used on the databases after they have been converted. Entry or posting of batches using these programs will corrupt the Adagio Receivables and Adagio Payables databases. To convert your AR and AP databases, change the 'Job Costing Integration' option from 'ACCPAC Job Costing' to 'Adagio JobCost' in the Edit Company Profile functions in Adagio Receivables and Adagio Payables. Note: The 'Integrate with Accounts Receivable ' option in the Adagio JobCost Company Profile is strictly to identify whether JobCost will integrate to Adagio Receivables to read the customer list or maintain it's own customer list If you are using Softrak's Quik Invoice Plus for DOS product, you must replace it with Adagio Invoices and convert your data in that product. Refer to the Adagio Invoices manual or help for instructions to convert Quik Invoice Plus to Adagio Invoices. When Adagio Invoices is started, you will be asked if you want to prepare the database for Adagio JobCost. 12 Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio Ledger Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus The most up-to-date compatibility information is on the Product Compatibility Info link at including compatibility with ACCPAC Plus. The report tables are in this directory for legacy reasons this directory is also the location of tables and programs used by Quik Reports for DOS. Using with existing ACCPAC Plus databases If you are using ACCPAC Plus and you wish to use Adagio with the existing ACCPAC Plus data, choose the path to your ACCPAC Plus data when creating or opening databases for Adagio. Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus General Ledger Adagio Ledger 9.0 data is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus General Ledger. Do not open an Adagio Ledger 9.0 database with Plus G/L. It will attempt to open the database but you will get the error Damaged data. Account currency information file is missing. The Adagio Ledger database will not be harmed. However, to prevent Plus G/L from being run accidentally you may want to rename the \GLASP directory to \GLASP.renamed. Note: You may need to edit previous years using Plus G/L before the data can be retrieved in Adagio Ledger EZFile Directories Dialog If this is your first time creating or opening an Adagio database, the EZFile Directories dialog box will appear. This dialog box requires you to complete two fields to indicate the location of some required system files. Adagio will attempt to automatically select the locations of the files discussed below for you. Once this information is entered for one Adagio database, it will be used for all further Adagio modules that use the same path and data extension. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 12 of 33

Multi-currency Financial Statements Conversion of ACCPAC Plus General Ledger financial specifications for multi-currency databases will not use.e information. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 13 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio Payables Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus Compatibility with Plus A/P in a multi-user environment is no longer guaranteed. Concurrent use of Adagio Payables and Plus A/P on the same database is not recommended. You will be able to post batches in Payables while other users are in Plus A/P and while data integrity problems are not expected this is not guaranteed. Reports printed in Plus A/P may experience problems while other users processing in Payables. When opening an ACCPAC Plus A/P database for the first time with Adagio Payables a conversion is required. NOTE: No testing has been done with Adagio Payables 8.1B and higher to confirm the following information. Adagio Payables remains compatible with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Payable and other apps that add/modify/delete vendors, such as DOS Inventory Receipts (this has not been tested by Softrak), as long as you do not add/modify/delete vendors in those modules. If you do it, will cause File Integrity Errors (phase 1 errors) in Payables. These errors will not be detected by Plus AP. However, Adagio Payables will be able to rebuild the errors and the only problem these errors should cause is problems looking up vendors by name or phone number in Adagio Payables. It is strongly recommended that you do not use Plus AP on Adagio Payables 8.1B and higher databases. After the conversion, ACCPAC Plus A/P is generally compatible with Adagio Payables 8.1B. However, you should not do a System Check run in ACCPAC Plus A/P if the data has been opened with Adagio Payables 8.0A or higher. ACCPAC Plus is not compatible with the precheck register created in Adagio Payables and does not respect the payables marked to be withheld. As with all earlier versions of Adagio Payables, if you post in ACCPAC Plus A/P, the GL disbursement details are not maintained. Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus A/P when used with Adagio Time&Billing The data structure of the Adagio Payables database changes when interfaced to Adagio Time&Billing. ACCPAC Plus A/P does not support this structure but will still open a Payables database interfaced to Time&Billing. If ACCPAC Plus A/P is used to enter or post batches it will corrupt the Payables database. Adagio Time&Billing 6.8A installed changes to the Plus A/P programs in the APASP directory. These changed programs allowed Plus A/P to work with Adagio Payables databases interfaced to Time&Billing. This interface is not installed by Time&Billing 8.0A. If in place, these changed programs are not removed. However, we recommend you do not use Plus A/P on any database interfaced to Time&Billing. To prevent you from corrupting data by running ACCPAC Plus A/P, earlier versions of Adagio Payables turned off the Time&Billing interface in the Payables Company Profile when the Softrak Systems Inc. Page 14 of 33

interface program changes were not represent in APASP. This no longer happens as compatibility with Plus A/P is no longer supported. It is up to the user to be sure not to run Plus A/P on databases interfaced to Time&Billing. The report tables are in this directory for legacy reasons - this directory is also the location of tables used by Quik Reports for DOS. All Adagio products and ACCPAC Plus must use the same EZTasks path. If this is not correct in a multi-user environment, data corruption may result. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 15 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio EFT Adagio EFT provides a "one-time only" option to convert to Adagio EFT. If you were using the Conamex EFT DOS product, when you open the company profile you are asked to retrieve the Conamex setup information. NOTE: You 'must' say Yes at this point and the Conamex setup information will be read. After conversion, when you run Adagio Payables, go to the Company Profile to begin set up as for any EFT supplier. Please refer to the Adagio Payables online Help documentation or manual for more information on setting up Adagio EFT. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 16 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio OrderEntry Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus The most up-to-date compatibility information is on the Product Compatibility Info link at including compatibility with ACCPAC Plus. Adagio OrderEntry 8.1E remains compatible with ACCPAC Plus OrderEntry, Accounts Receivable and ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control unless Adagio Receivables is 9.0A and as mentioned in the next paragraph. However, using ACCPAC Plus with Adagio OrderEntry is not recommended, compatibility is not guaranteed and this configuration is not supported. An additional index to the order details file by item number has been added to speed up GridView views used for inquiries into the open orders/invoices/credit note details by item. This means Adagio OrderEntry is no longer compatible with third-party products that add new documents or lines to existing documents in the OE database but do not use the Adagio Data Source (ADS) to do so as those products do not update the additional index. This includes ACCPAC Plus Order Entry. There is no issue if a product only updates existing OE detail records. If these products must be used the additional index can be turned off. The index is used to speed up GridView views only and not absolutely required by Adagio OE, but the default is to have the index on. To turn off the additional index, edit the OEWININI.ddd file (where ddd is your company data file extension) found in the Adagio data folder. This is a text file but with your database extension rather than.txt. Change the Report Tables Drive During installation you will be asked for the Report Tables Drive. The report tables are in this directory for legacy reasons this directory is also the location of tables used by Quik Reports for DOS. Using with existing ACCPAC Plus databases If you are using ACCPAC Plus and you wish to use Adagio with the existing ACCPAC Plus data, choose the path to your ACCPAC Plus data when creating or opening databases for Adagio. In ACCPAC Plus O/E Tax Tables a tax rate of 99.99% was interpreted as 0.00%. Adagio will charge 99.99% tax in this case. Some Plus O/E databases may need to be changed for use Softrak Systems Inc. Page 17 of 33

with Adagio. To check and change the rate if necessary, select Tax Groups under the Edit menu. Dayend must be run and the Tax Summary report printed and cleared before you can save changes to Tax Groups. Adagio Inventory 8.0B and higher use a new structure for the History Transaction file that is different than that used in earlier versions, including ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control and ACCPAC Plus Order Entry. ACCPAC Plus O/E remains compatible with Adagio Inventory 8.0B and higher; however the interface changes slightly. When the Shipment and Credit Note Audit List reports are printed and cleared (usually during OE Day End), transactions are written to the (old) ACCPAC Plus I/C transaction history file. Adagio Inventory will offer to move these transaction to its (new) history file. The next time you start Adagio Inventory, the message "There are historical item transactions to retrieve. Do you want to retrieve these transactions" will be displayed. The transactions should be retrieved at this time so that the Transactions History report, Transaction History Inquiry and View Items with Sales and Costs are up to date in Adagio Inventory. Page 18 of 33

Using Adagio OrderEntry with ACCPAC Plus Order Entry Updating the Database: If you open an existing ACCPAC Plus Order Entry database with Adagio OrderEntry, it must update its count of the total number of orders, invoices and credit notes. You will see the following message displayed "The order statistics will now be updated, due to postings in ACCPAC Plus Order Entry." Adagio OrderEntry will read through the existing orders, invoices and credit notes. Although this process should usually takes only about 1 second, it could take a significant amount of time on a large database across a network. This will normally only be required once unless you continue to post in ACCPAC Plus Order Entry, in which case the update will be required each time after posting. Older Style Files in ACCPAC Plus Order Entry: If you open an existing ACCPAC Plus Order Entry database with Adagio OrderEntry, it may need to update older style files and you will see the following message: "Older style ISAM file(s) have been detected. These files must be updated before the database can be used by Adagio OrderEntry. The update should only take a few seconds. To update these files now press Yes, to exit without update press No." Updating the files will not affect the operation of ACCPAC Plus Order Entry. However, you are given the option to cancel the update to allow you to make a backup of your data. Upgrading from earlier versions of OrderEntry Adagio Receivables 8.0A or higher is required. If upgrading from OrderEntry 6.8B or earlier, you must open your AR database at least once with Adagio Receivables 8.0A (or higher) before opening your OE data with Adagio OrderEntry 8.1E. If you use Adagio OrderEntry with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivables and you do not have Adagio Receivables 8.0A or higher, you will not be able to open your OE data in OrderEntry 8.1C (or higher). After your AR database has been opened in Adagio Receivables you will be able to continue using ACCPAC Plus AR although you will not be able to use some of the new features available in Adagio OrderEntry. Contact your dealer for assistance. The first Day End in Adagio OrderEntry The Day End function copies all completed documents to history. The first time you run Day End on an ACCPAC Plus OE database, this could take a significant period of time (hours) on a large database with a large number of completed documents in current. This is particularly true if your data is on a network drive. For large databases, you may want to copy your database to a local machine, run Day End on the data, and then copy it back. We strongly recommend you contact your dealer or consultant for assistance with this procedure and take a backup before proceeding. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 19 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio Receivables NOTE: Adagio Receivables 9.0A converts databases from earlier versions. Once converted, the database is no longer compatible with earlier versions of Adagio Receivables or ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable. It is not compatible with other ACCPAC Plus programs that interface to A/R, including O/E, I/C, G/L, J/C, and S/A. It is not compatible with third-party DOS programs that interface to A/R. Adagio Receivables 9.0A data is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable. ACCPAC Plus A/R will not open the database and will display the error This data is for a newer version of Accounts Receivable. The Adagio Receivables database will not be harmed. However, to prevent Plus A/R from being run accidentally, you may want to rename the \ARASP folder to \ARASP.renamed. Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus The most up-to-date compatibility information is on the Product Compatibility Info link at including compatibility with ACCPAC Plus. Adagio Receivables 9.0A converts databases from earlier versions. Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable Adagio Receivables 9.0A data is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable. After data conversion to Adagio Receivables 9.0A, ACCPAC Plus A/R will not open the database and will display the error This data is for a newer version of Accounts Receivable. The Adagio Receivables database will not be harmed. However, to prevent Plus Softrak Systems Inc. Page 20 of 33

A/R from being run accidentally, you may want to rename the \ARASP folder to \ARASP.renamed. Viewing Order Entry details in Customer Edit On the Transactions tab in the Customer Edit and Customer Inquiry functions you can only view documents in Order Entry if Adagio OrderEntry is installed. If only ACCPAC Plus OE is used documents in OE cannot be viewed in Adagio Receivables 9.0A. It is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 21 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio SalesAnalysis for DOS Upgrading to Adagio SalesAnalysis from Softrak Sales Analysis for DOS Adagio SalesAnalysis converts Softrak's Sales Analysis for DOS product, version 6.5A. After conversion, SalesAnalysis 9.0A is not compatible with Softrak Sales Analysis for DOS. The DOS product will not open a SA 9.0A database. If you are using a version of Softrak's Sales Analysis for DOS older than version 6.5A, it must be converted to 6.5A before it can be converted to Adagio SalesAnalysis 9.0A. Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus SalesAnalysis 9.0A is not compatible with Softrak Sales Analysis for DOS. The DOS product will not open a SA 9.0A database. SalesAnalysis 9.0A is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable, Order Entry or Inventory Control if Adagio Receivables is 9.0A or higher. If Receivables 8.1A or earlier is used, Adagio SalesAnalysis 9.0A may be compatible with ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable, Order Entry and Inventory Control. However, using ACCPAC Plus with Adagio SalesAnalysis 9.0A is not recommended, compatibility is not guaranteed and this configuration is not supported. Destination Drive When installing Adagio at a site running ACCPAC Plus and you will continue to run ACCPAC Plus, you should install Adagio to the same drive on which programs for that product are found. Otherwise other drives can be used. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 22 of 33

Page 23 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio SalesCQ Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus The most up-to-date compatibility information is on the Product Compatibility Info link at including compatibility with ACCPAC Plus. Destination Drive When installing Adagio at a site running ACCPAC Plus and you will continue to run ACCPAC Plus, you should install Adagio to the same drive on which programs for that product are found. All Adagio products and ACCPAC Plus must use the same EZTasks path. If this is not correct in a multi-user environment, data corruption may result. Importing ContactMaster Adagio SalesCQ can read in a ContactMaster for ACCPAC Plus database. ContactMaster for DOS 6.1D to 6.1E and ContactMaster for Windows 1.0B to 2.0A can be read. Contact Softrak Systems if you require other versions to be read in. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 24 of 33

Importing QuoteMaster Adagio SalesCQ can import a QuoteMaster for ACCPAC Plus database from versions 6.0A, 6.1A and 6.6A. Contact Softrak Systems if you require other versions to be imported. The import from QuoteMaster picks up fields from the Adagio customer file that do not exist in ACCPAC Plus Accounts Receivable. For example, quotes are populated with the customer's address rather than leaving it blank in the quote as quotes in QuoteMaster do not have this field. Softrak Systems Inc. Page 25 of 33

Considerations for ACCPAC Plus Users using Adagio Time&Billing NOTE: If Adagio Time&Billing is used with Adagio Receivables 9.0A or later, it is not compatible with ACCPAC Plus. Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus The most up-to-date compatibility information is on the Product Compatibility Info link at including compatibility with ACCPAC Plus. The data structure of the Adagio Payables database changes when interfaced to Adagio Time&Billing. ACCPAC Plus A/P does not support this structure but will still open a Payables database interfaced to Time&Billing. If ACCPAC Plus A/P is used to enter or post batches it will corrupt the Payables database. For this reason, the Adagio Time&Billing install renames the ACCPAC Plus A/P program files directory (APASP) to prevent you from inadvertently corrupting your Payables data. The install renames APASP to APASP.renamed. If you need to use Plus A/P on other databases, you must rename the directory back to APASP and you must not use Plus A/P on Adagio Payables databases interfaced to Adagio Time&Billing or you will corrupt your data. NOTE: Installing the Evaluation version of Adagio Time&Billing does not rename the directory. Do not use ACCPAC Plus A/P on any company database containing Adagio Time&Billing data. This will corrupt your AP database. If Plus A/P is installed, we recommend you rename or delete the APASP folder to prevent accidentally corrupting your AP database, unless you must still use Plus A/P on databases that do not contain Time&Billing data. Upgrading to Time&Billing from TBR (DOS) If you are upgrading from Time, Billing and Client Receivables (TBR), your database must be converted. For conversion instructions and other considerations when upgrading see the Converting Time, Billing and Client Receivables (TBR) databases to Adagio Time&Billing. Using with existing ACCPAC Plus databases If you are using ACCPAC Plus and you wish to use Adagio with the existing ACCPAC Plus data, choose the path to your ACCPAC Plus data when creating or opening databases for Adagio.
