4 1 Conversion of In-Periods in For-Periods View If more than one payroll period is printed (for example, for retroactive accounting on separate pages), the data from the most recent period is always printed in the Personal/Organizational Data area of the remuneration statement form (in the table at the top right). If you want the data from the view of the respective payroll period, meaning for the particular for-period, to be printed instead, follow the instructions below to modify your form. 4 REF copyright \* MERGEFORMAT

5 1.1 Change the InfoStar ERGEBNISSE (Transaction HRFORMS) The formsap_payslip_de_p contains the InfoStar ERGEBNISSE with the dimensions EMPLOYEE and INPERIOD. This InfoStar has not yet been used in the layout. To change the InfoStar ERGEBNISSE, proceed as follows: 1. Start the HR Forms Workplace (transactionhrforms). 2. Select thesap_payslip_de_p form and choose Change. 3. In the MetaNet SAP_DEFAULT, MetaStar PAYROLL_PERIOD, select the dimension FORPERIOD and use drag and drop to move this dimension to the InfoStar ERGEBNISSE. 4. Activate the form. 6 1.2 Tax Days and SI Days During Retroactive Accounting As long as only the tax days and SI days for the in-period are displayed, there are no problems with the retroactive accounting values. Since these values are stored in wage types inrt and the differences to the previous values are usually formed during retroactive accounting, the value in the retroactive accounting periods is usually 0 days. In the HR Forms Editor (transaction HRFORMS), in the formsap_payslip_de_p, use drag and drop to add the dimension RESULT_STATUS from the MetaStar PAY_RESULT to the two InfoStars STEUERTAGE and SVTAGE. Then enter the selection= A (only the current values) for this additional dimension. Activate the form. The generated print program for the form then provides only the current results for the tax days and SI days and as a result no more differences are formed in retroactive accounting periods. 6 REF copyright \* MERGEFORMAT

7 1.3 Create a Backup Copy of the Form Layout (Transaction SFP) You can use a local copy of the previous form layout to, if required, delete the changed layout and reconstruct it using this backup copy. 1. Start the Form Builder (transactionsfp). 2. Enter the formpyxxfo_sap_payslip_de_p and choose Utilities Downloading form object. Form Builder: Downloading Form. 3. Save the form with the file namesfpf_pyxxfo_sap_payslip_de_p.xml. 1.4 Changes in Context (Transaction SFP) The tables required for the personal and organizational data need to be assigned to the relevant period. The dimensions alone are not sufficient for this since they do not usually contain any period information. 1. In the Form Builder, in the HRDATA structure of the Import interface, select the following eight tables: o STAR_ERGEBNISSE o STAR_ORGZUORDNUNG o STAR_SACHBEARBEITER o STAR_SOZIALVERS o STAR_STEUER o STAR_STEUERTAGE o STAR_SVTAGE o STAR_TARIFZUORDNUNG 2014 SAP AG or an SAP affiliate company. 10 3. For each of these new tables, make the time-based assignment to the higher-level table PERIODE. You do this using the WHERE clause of the individual STAR tables. Make the time-based assignment for the following tables: o STAR_ORGZUORDNUNG o STAR_ERGEBNISSE o STAR_STEUERTAGE o STAR_SVTAGE o STAR_TARIFZUORDNUNG Proceed as described in the following example. 12 1.5 Changes in Layout (Transaction SFP) Convert Table Objects to Subforms To be able to display the organizational data correctly for the for-period, an Overflow Header Area is required. This is then displayed any time there is a page break. However, this function is available for subform objects only and not for table objects. The conversion of tables to subforms is not (yet) available in transactionsfp (see also SAP Note HR Forms remuneration statement: Issues with regard to translation). Therefore, you need to use the Adobe LiveCycle Designer for this. 1. Open the layout (in display or change mode) in the layout Form Builder (transaction SFP). 2. 13 3. Open the Adobe LiveCycle Designer (program FormDesigner.exe). The program needs to be installed on your computer so that you can use it in the Form Builder. 4. Open the previously saved layout in the program. 5. Place the cursor on the table object Wage Types. 6. Choose Table Convert to Subform. Convert Table Object to Subform Note If you have already performed the correction instructions in SAP Note or you have imported the related Support Package, the Wage Types table has already been converted. 7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the tables Semiretirement, Notifications, and Absences. 8. Save the changed layout. 9. Upload the changed layout in the Form Builder (change mode) again and activate the form SAP AG or an SAP affiliate company. All rights reserved. 13
