51 Client vs. Server side Tetra4D Converter is the right solution For a low number of seats Very small companies or companies with a small number (up to 10) of CAD seats. An automatic process requires a certain throughput of data to be converted to 3D PDF, the investment is too high otherwise. If there is a need for additional manual work (e.g. add animation into 3D PDF). Some process can not be fully automated. However in some cases, it makes more sense there to use a client tool. Regarding this, it may be possible to have customers with a mixed server and client solution, depending on their use case. If a company would like to start "small" with a client solution to gain more experience with the 3D PDF technology. After some time the company could realize that it wants to automate processes and use 3D PDF technology wider. The next step would then be our server solution. 51
