3 1.1 Introduction Indoor LED signs are one of the best ways to achieve this especially in public places like supermarkets, retail stores, nail & hair salons, bars and lounges, auto dealers, restaurants, real estate companies, etc. They are the most effective marketing tools you can have for your business. The ability to announce any sale, special or message at any time is a powerful means to capture the attention of the thousands of people who pass your business every day. Resolution of LED signs is commonly measured by pitch, which is the distance between each LED cluster, or pixel. 5 2.2 Installation Insert the CD into computer Double click on LedshowTW2014( )_ALL or LedshowTW2015( )_All file Follow the instructions to finish installing LedshowTW2014 or LedshowTW Screen Setup Set Screen Parameter Open software Go to menu Setup: select Set Screen Parameter Password: 168

6 Set Controller and Communication Mode Select Screen parameters Tab Controller: Select BX-5Q full-color Series Select BX-5Q1+ Communication Mode : select USB storage device Click Save

7 Set Scan Configuration Select Scan Configuration Tab For P10 Led Signs Check 1/8 Select the first scan Click Save Scan

9 Set screen dimensions Go back to Screen Parameters Tab Screen width: Set the number of dots on the wide side, such as 96, 128,160, etc Screen height: Set the number of dots on the high side, such as 32, 48, 64, 80, etc... Click Save and then Close Display parameter configuration (skip this step if P5 Led Signs) Go to menu Setup : select Display parameter configuration

11 2.5 Menu The menu is composited with File, Edit, AutoFit, Setup, Common Commands, Advanced Configuration, Language and Help File Menu New Program file: used to create a specified screen program broadcasting documents Open Program file: used to load an edit program,(prerequisite is the program has been saved) Program file Save As: used to save the current broadcasting files Project file export: Save the materials. Contents of program to Documents" &"Project list" automatically. It is to recover the data materials when there's something wrong with the software Project file import: Import the data materials from Documents", Project list" to software. Importantly, the PC software parameters should be the same with export file Exit Edit Menu Add General Program: add a general program Add Image /Text Zone: add an image/text area in the preview filed Add Subtitle Zone: add subtitle area in the preview area Add Animation Zone: add animation area in the preview area Add Dial Zone: add dial area in the preview area Add Date Time Zone: add date time zone area in the preview area Add Timer Zone: add timer area in the preview area Delete Zone: delete select object in the preview area.

12 2.5.3 Language Menu This software supports 14 languages, and default is English. You can select the language as your requirement. 2.6 Tool Bar Click new : create program in current screen Open : click the open button and select from the saved program file, the file must be in *.pj Save : click the save button, pop up the save as dialog, save the current program file,the file must be in *.pj General program : click the program button, create a new program in the current screen, as showed in Picture Image& text : add a new image & text area in the current screen, as showed in Picture 2.6.2

13 Subtitle : add a new subtitle in the current screen, as showed in Picture Animation : add a new animation area in the current screen, as showed in Picture Dial : add new dial area in the current screen, as showed in Picture Timing : add new timing area in the current screen, as showed in Picture 2.6.6

14 Time : add new time area in the current screen, as showed in Picture Delete : delete program and the areas in the program Brightness : adjust the brightness of current screen Correction time : correct the time with controller chip USB : export program to USB flash drive. 2.7 Program Property After add a new program, select the current program, and set program property in the bottom of main interface, as showed in 2.7 Picture 2.7 Program name: set current program name Order Play: click this button to play program according to the program order, play times could be set as well, maximum is 255 times Time play: click this button to set the play time, maximum is seconds Play aging: select it to set the start time and end time for the program Play time: select to set detailed start time and end time for program play Play Weekly: set the date for program play, could also set any day of a week, single or multiple selections is OK. Program border: set borders, could be single or multi-color. Borders speed and effects can be adjusted Program background: support *.bmp, *.jpg, *.jpeg and *. txt format
