Installation 1.) Plug the Sign into an AC Outlet to turn on. 2.) Plug-in the USB Flash Drive (provided) to your Computer s USB Slot. (Wait a few second until it load) 3.

2 Installation 1.) Plug the Sign into an AC Outlet to turn on. 2.) Plug-in the USB Flash Drive (provided) to your Computer s USB Slot. (Wait a few second until it load) 3.) Open the USB Flash Drive & double click on the file PowerLed 2.23 (Note: Version Number may vary) 4.) Choose the language: ENGLISH. Then press OK button. 5.) Click Next > when the following is displayed. 2

3 6.) Select your installation destination as shown below: Then click NEXT > 7.) Create a file name for your START MENU Then click Next > 3

4 8.) A window will display if you like to create a desktop icon. Check to create. Click Next > to proceed. 9.) A window will display your installation for confirmation. Click Install button to begin installing the software. 4

6 12) Plug the RS-232 wire (Picture below) to your computer & programmable sign. a. On some computer, use the USB Converter to connect (Provided). Might need to install USB converter driver. 7 14) Click on Tools(T) -> then Panel Setup Default Password is 168 then click on OK button. 15) A new window with Panel Setup will appear (Picture below). Your setup for CNT-978R should be EXACTLY like shown below: If not, change it according to picture and press Setup. 7

8 Press OK button to confirm. Then press Cancel on Panel Setup to complete process. 16) Click on File(F) -> then click on Open(O) 17) Choose the USB Driver that s provided. 8

9 18) Inside the USB Driver, double click on the folder Sample File. 19) Click on CNT-978R and open the file. 20) Your screen should look similar to below: 9

10 21) Click on Text1 located on the left side of the window. 22) The bottom right screen (background black with the word SAMPLE). Click on the screen and type your message (Remember to delete SAMPLE). 23) Press Send icon to send your message to the sign. 10

11 Sending Message with USB Flash Drive 1) After finish inputting your message, click on the Export icon located on the top right. 2) Select the directory of your USB Flash Drive and click on Save button. 11

12 3) You will see a message Save project succeed. 4) Remove the USB Flash Drive from your PC and plug it into the Sign (USB port for sign is located on the right side) 5) The Sign will display USB -> OK!. When OK! is displayed, remove the USB Flash Drive and your first message will be running (IMPORTANT MUST REMOVE THE USB FLASH DRIVE FROM THE SIGN BEFORE MESSAGE CAN DISPLAY) For advance programming detail, please read below or video included inside the USB Flash Drive. 12

Status Bar: Status Bar displays your current status of the software and network connection and other sub-information. 16

Advanced Programming Program Object By clicking on the Program in the Object Area (See Page 13), parameter area will display your Program settings (Shown below).

To specify the date range on the program to Enable/Disable. To specify the time range on the program to Enable/Disable. To Specify the Day(s) of week to Enable/Disable the program.

Text Object By clicking on the Text on the Object Area, parameter area will display your text settings. Image Object By clicking on the Image on the Object Area, parameter will display your image settings. (Shown below) Here, you will need to upload your own image. Image MUST be PIXEL SENSITIVE. Generally used for Advanced Computer Users. You must know how to adjust images by pixel or know how to make your own pixel drawings. 18

20 Additional USB Display Information Normally, when you transfer your massage through the USB Driver, you will mainly see USB and OK! (Shown below) However, if you bump into a display with E with three number digits, there is an error. Screen Display: USB OK! E004 E007 E008 E009 E015 E016 E100 E101 E102 Information: Reading USB Drive. Please wait. Upload from USB complete. Please remove the USB Driver. Error on Panel parameter when transferring data through USB Driver. Error on Panel width. Please change the width size on your programming Error on Panel height. Please change the height size on your programming. Error on Pixel height or width bigger than LED Sign Size. Partition overstep volume, please reduce partition or set the width of partition as 64X (x times 64) Data Size too big. Please delete some information. No data on the USB Driver or data is missing.
