There are too many out-dated forms floating around and hopefully by sending everything at once, you ll save a copy for your files so you ll always have the necessary form(s) on hand. Please note: The membership due date has changed and is now February 1 st, You all get one free month! This means all forms & payment for membership & optional insurance are due at the same time. Please allow a MINIMUM of two weeks for your mail to reach us. Please DO NOT send via registered mail or Priority post. I assure you this will only delay your mail reaching us. If you have questions, remember to contact your Provincial Representative. She is there to help you. Get to know her! You are not able to register for the 2012 convention in Regina until you have your 2012 membership confirmation. Our office will happily accept your post-dated cheque & application, dated February 1, 2012, which will help speed things up for those wishing to register for the convention, and for those Snowbirds who are heading south shortly. Please ensure that you have added our address info@crownjewelsofcanada.com to your safe senders list. If you re not receiving the monthly newsletters, may we suggest you use one of the many internet-based programs such as gmail or yahoo for your address? As our newsletter is sent to thousands of members sometimes your computer believes it to be spam or your internet provider blocks it. All newsletters (back to early 2009) are on the member s website in the archives under the main tab in the top left corner (look for the red box) Newsletters are sent on the 1 st or 2 nd of each month so if not in your inbox, check your spam/junk mail folder. It just might be in there! If you wish to register for the members website use this link Note that you re not already registered so you re not signing in you must sign-up/register to join the website. You re not a member of the website just because you re a member of the CJCS. When the page opens, enter your own address, then the password CJCS Retype CJCS and enter your birth date then type the two words shown below that then click SIGN UP where you will be taken to a Profile page. Complete all answers then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on JOIN You will then see a notice saying Your membership to Crown Jewels of Canada Society is pending approval. The program then sends a notice to our office for confirmation that you are a member of the CJCS. Do not click on withdraw request as it might lock you out permanently. Once approved, you ll receive an saying: Congratulations! Your Canadian Jewels membership has been approved. The link is (please bookmark it so you can return to the site in the future) Clicking on the link takes you to the sign-in page. Sign in using the address and password (CJCS) you used to register with. (hint if you never log out it will remember your password and and make it easier to log in the next time.) Once on the site you can edit your profile, change the background of your page, change or upload a photo of yourself. How to add or change your photo: Use a photo from your computer, for your profile. We like to see our members helps us recognize you at events. Often filed under photos on (Vista) or my photos on (Windows XP) Go to "settings" which is right under your name on the right, click on settings and go to "My profile". Under your name in the middle of the page, click on the little green icon, and a window will appear asking you to "browse" your computer. Click browse, search your computer for your photo, click on it and then click "done". Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "save". Individual members may not hold the title of Queen, therefore they are not eligible to attend Royal Court (Queen) gatherings. They will be listed as an independent. (one not affiliated with a chapter.) Members who belong to more than one chapter shall pay the registration fee only once. They have the choice of being registered under just one chapter, or paying the $5.00 annual fee for each chapter they wish to be registered in. Members in multiple chapters pay insurance just once, under one chapter.
