1 Free and Reduced Online Application Instructions Step #1: In the Internet address field, type in the web site address: Step #2: You must click the button to select: Privacy and Policy Click the Next button to continue. Note: If you do not complete all required information on the following screens, a red box will highlight the field you need to complete. You must complete the required information before you can proceed to the next screen. 1

2 Step #3: The Letter to household will be displayed. Please use the scroll bar on the right side of the screen to review the entire letter. Please read this important letter. Click the Next button to continue. Step #4: Special Circumstances Screen: If anyone in your household participates in the assistance programs listed below, your children are eligible for free meal: please read and complete if applicable. If someone in your household has The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Please enter their Name and 9-digit Case Number. Click the Next button to continue. 2

3 Step #5: Student Information Screen: Type in the number of students who attends Gwinnett County schools. Click the Next button to continue. Step #6: Student Information Screen: Complete all appropriate information. When you have finished entering information for the student, click the Next button to continue. List ALL students in school. 3

4 To add more students, please click on the Add Additional Student button. The system will display another information box for you to complete. Step #7: Household Members and Income Screen: Type in the number of members living in your household NOT INCLUDING THE STUDENTS LISTED IN THE PREVIOUS STEP. Click the Next button to continue. 4

5 Step #8: Household Members and Income screen: Enter each member and their GROSS MONTHLY INCOME. How Often? weekly, 2 x month, bi-weekly, monthly, annual. Click the Next button to continue. Note: Make sure to select the correct Income Frequency. How often do your receive the earnings income amount you have entered. Important Note: Click on the Add Additional Household Member button, to add more members. The system will display another information box for you to complete. Step #9: On the Adult Signer Information Screen: Enter your information. Click the Next button to continue. 5

6 Step #10: Demographic Information. This screen is optional. Click the Next button to continue. Step #11: Summary and Review Screen. Please review this information and verify it is correct. Make any modifications necessary by using the Change Special Circumstances the link next to each section. Click the Next button to continue. 6

7 Step #12: Electronic Signature screen: You must click the box: By checking this box I affirm that the name above represents my official. Electronically sign this application. Click FINISH button to continue. 7

8 Step #13: After you have completed your application, the following screen will be displayed. If you would like to receive a confirmation ed, in the box type in your address. Click the submit button to continue 8

This does not mean your application has been processed-yet. It may take 24 hours or more before your online application is processed. Students are expected to pay full price meals and parents are responsible for all charges until the application has been approved.
