In order to achieve this our school has invested in Learner Management software to monitor attendance, communicate with students and families and provide access to resources for teaching and learning from home and at school. It is important that parents and caregivers utilise the Parent Portal to access the following information: - Attendance - Homework - Classwork, tasks and due dates - Assessment results for individual tasks - Term and Semester Reports (which are no longer printed) - Assessment Plans - School Notifications (Newsletters, Accelerate Referrals, School events, Parent Bulletins Parent Notices and Upcoming Events) To access the Parent Portal please follow the link below or copy the link into your internet browser (see more detailed instructions below): The school recently updated the DayMap portal which requires parents to reset their password (If you have already reset your password in the last 3 weeks a reset is not required). To do this, you will need the address you have given the school (the address at which you will have received this information.) you will also need your child s 6 digit ID number located on their student ID card. If you have changed your address, please collect a change of personal details form from the front office. Your new address will then be entered into DayMap and may take several days to activate. Should you experience difficulties logging on after you initially set up your account, please contact the school. If you have any questions regarding information about a particular subject, please contact the relevant teacher directly either by or phone using the details in the footer of this letter. Please note that we have elected not to use the messaging service in Daymap for parents/caregivers to contact staff. 2 Detailed setup instructions for Daymap Connect Daymap Connect is an extension of the Daymap Learner Management System which provides parents with access to key school and student information both at home and on the go. Our easy-to-use system allows parents to create and manage their own accounts for Daymap Connect, requiring only one login and password per parents to access details for all students enrolled in the school. New Users or Resetting your Password Step 1: Type in the following url in your internet browser Step 2: Select the New User? option. Or Forgot Your Password if you are an existing user Step 3: Enter the address you provided the school and your child s 6 Digit student code Press Reset your password

3 Step 4: Once you have entered the details a username and password will be sent instantly to your account.

4 Installing DAYMAP on an iphone/ipad Step 1: Go to the App store and search for DayMap Step 2: Click on the Get Button next to DayMap Connect Step 3: Find the DayMap App on your device and open it. Press Allow

5 The following steps must be done in the order provided Step 3: Select Parent/Guardian Step 4: Enter Step 5: Click check URL Step 6: Enter your Username and Password and press login Note: You will need to have already gone through the registration process in order to use the App. See instructions above.

6 Accessing Term/Semester Report Step 1: Click on your child s photo Step 2: Click on the reports Menu Step 3: Click on the selected report to download. Open or save

7 Accessing Attendance and Assessment Information Step 1: Click on your child s photo Step 2: Select from one of the menu items to look up your child s Attendance, Assessment and Reports

8 Parent Notifications On the home screen parents/caregivers will be able to access a range of school notifications including Newsletter Accelerate Referrals School events Parent Bulletins Parent Notices and Upcoming Events Step 1: Select the appropriate field from the menu or open the message on the main page Messages Calendar Parent Bulletins Access the Schools Newsletters Parent notices Your account details with the ability to reset your password Sign out
