1 Prerequisite By installing the free Outlook Plugin - Outlook CalDav Synchronizer, you may synchronize the calendar and address book in Outlook. This instruction is divided into Server site and Client site as below: Server Site Update the firmware version of mail server to v Download the CalDAV server file according to your mail server s model name and upload it under Calendar > Shared Calendar. 2 After rebooting, the port number and URL example of CalDav and CardDav will be displayed under Calendar > Shared Calendar.(Figure 1-5) Figure 1-5 The Port Number and the URL Example of CalDav/ CardDav Note: 1. How to configure the settings on 2 mail servers (High Availability) Update the firmware to the latest version. (You only need to update one appliance. Another one will be updated synchronously) Make sure the firmware update is successfully completed on both appliances and the HA synchronization is done. Import CalDAV, then the system will reboot automatically. Make sure the HA synchronization is completed, and then reboot the system. 2. The default port number is 8088 (HTTP) and 4433 (HTTPS). If you want to change the port number, please make sure the new port number that you set is not in use. In addition, if the mail server is in the internal network, please open the port in the firewall. 3. The format of current content of calendar and address book in mail server will be converted into new format automatically. This takes 5 to 10 minutes approximately. Client Site Close Outlook and then download and install Outlook CalDav Synchronizer. Note: 1. Outlook CalDav Synchronizer is a free outlook plugin, which is being maintained and updated officially. The supported Outlook versions are 2007, 2010, 2013 and (This instruction uses v3.2.0)

3 1.1 Synchronizing the Calendar Synchronizing Calendar in Mail Server with Outlook Step 1. Open Outlook, go to CalDav Synchronizer tab and select Synchronization Profiles.(Figure 1-6) Figure 1-6 Going to CalDav Synchronizer Tab and Selecting Synchronization Profiles Step 2. In the Options dialog, configure the settings as below: Select Add new profile. In the Select Profile Type dialog, select Generic CalDAV/CardDav and click the OK button.(figure 1-7, 1-8) Select the Calendar folder and click the New button.(figure 1-9, Figure 1-10, 1-11) Enter the calendar name, DAV URL, Username and password and then click the Test or discover settings button.(figure 1-12) Select the calendar to be synchronized and click the OK button. Then you will see Connection test successful message. (Figure 1-13, 1-14) Go back to the Options dialog, click the OK button to complete the settings.(figure 1-15)

Then you will see Connection test successful message.(figure 1-24, Figure 1-25) Go back to the Options dialog, click the OK button to complete the settings.(figure 1-26)

15 Note: 1. To prevent data overwritten or any error occurs, it is suggested to create a new folder for synchronization. 2. As to the setting of DAV URL, please enter the public IP or domain name according to this instruction. 3. Click the Test or discover settings button to see if the selected calendar (or address book) has the write permission. If yes, the two-way synchronization can be performed (Outlook Server). If not, it can only perform the one-way synchronization (Outlook Server), namely replicate or merge.
