1 GoLive! Campus Training Golivecampus.com is a website that was made for administrators and teachers to be able to block all access youtube.com but allow educational videos to be added to a library and viewed by students. This gives them the ability to block youtube.com directly using the iboss Enterprise Filter and only give access to watch approved videos within the media library. Setup Main Account From the main home page of golivecampus.com you will need to setup the Main Account for the organization. You only need one main account for the entire organization. Once you sign-up your account must first be approved. You will receive an with instructions once you have requested the account. 1. Fill in the information to Request an account. Fill in first name, last name, address, organization, and phone number.

2 2. Once your account has been approved, you will receive and with a link to complete the account. Click the link in the Fill in the rest of the information to complete the main account information. Fill in the Address, City, State, Zip, Country and type in your desired password twice and click Save, then click the login link.

3 4. Login using your new account credentials. Management Interface Once you login you will be brought to the management interface of the organizations media library. From here you can manage channels, categories, Users, and settings. Channels Channels are where your videos are available to view on your public "Channel". These channels are made for a place to link your videos for others to view. A teacher can link educational videos relating to their class for their students to view. Every account has a channel. When you add other users to your media library, they will get their own channel as well. This was made so that every teacher can have their own channel. When you login, you will see the address link to your channel highlighted.

4 This is what the channel would look like publicly to your students. Customize Channel Path You can customize the URL path to your golive channel by clicking on Channels at the top and then clicking your Channel name & click Edit. You can then modify the URL path to something that you can easily remember. Getting Started To get started you will need to add users to your library. You do not need them to sign-up on their own from the main login page of golivecampus.com, you will have to do it from within the golive management interface. Before you add users, you need to configure the settings you want for them. This will have the settings in place for when the complete the registration.

5 Configure User Settings before inviting them Click on Settings. The last option is for the Default Policy for Invited Users. Choose which options you'd like set before inviting users. For example if you are inviting teachers and admins, choose whether you'd like them to be able to Add videos to the library or if they have to request them first. Note: A user can either request videos to be approved by another user or you can have their settings configured so that they can simply just add videos to the library. Admin, Teacher & Student Usage Students are able to just watch videos on the teacher s channels. Students do not need their own account; only teachers and administrator would. Invite Administrators & Teachers After you have configured the default settings for invited user. You will need to add administrators and teachers to the media library. To do this, click on Users link at the top and then the Invite button. You can then put the addresses in a list with one per line. Once you've finished, you can click the Invite button.

6 Setup Sub-Accounts They will receive the same type of from golivecampus that will give them a link to complete their account information. After they setup the account it will ask them to login. They will get the same management interface. If they do not have access to certain sections, they will be greyed out.

7 Building Library Once you have setup all the users, you will need to start adding videos to the library. A user would need to first login to the management interface and start requesting/adding videos. Request Videos Once they are done setting up their account, they can then start requesting videos. To do this, they can type in the word at the top box that says Search YouTube or click on the Request Videos link in the menu tabs. You can either Request a video, or if you have privileges you can simply just add it. The button will change to either Request or Add depending on the settings of your user. When requesting videos, you will need to first choose which Category you are trying to request the video to. Choose the category in the drop down menu below the search bar.

8 Categories Each video that is requested needs to be part of a category. If a user only has the ability to request videos, a user with Approve/Add privileges would need to approve the video to have it added to the media library. To approve requested videos, click on Review Video Requests on the menu tabs. Before clicking approve, you would need to verify the category that you are going to be adding the video to. You can leave the drop down option to the Requested Category that the user chose, or change it before clicking the Add button. You can also choose to watch or Delete a requested video.

10 Link Video to Channel Videos that have been added to the media library can now be linked to channels. Click the menu tab option Search Media Library. You will need to search through the approved videos that are within the organizations media library. You can search for a term and select the category or simply click the search button to see the results. You would need to choose in the drop down menu which channel you'd like to link the video to before clicking the link button. See Video on Channel Once the video has been linked to a channel, it will now show up so that users may watch it.

11 Invite Students to Channel You can invite students to view your channel from within the management interface from the home page by clicking on Invite next to your channel link. You can then put student s addresses, one per line and click invite. They will then receive an with a link to your channel which they can view your linked videos on. Announcements Announcements are messages which you can post onto your channel. If the user has privileges to access Announcements, they can click on the Announcements button on the menu tab option. To add an announcement, click the Add button.

12 Enter a title, description and choose which channel to post on, then click Add. Once you've added the announcement, it is now viewable on the Channel.
