They had not yet put in a collection code or any call numbers. It is our feeling here that at least the collection code should be mandatory. I plan on altering our p_item_01 script to make this so. Why does the system read tab100 so many times? End up with 800 lines in the log file every time tab100 is read. Al provided log files. on Aug 13. Still a problem in version 18. Does Aleph have a limit it on the number of loans that show on the item record? We received a report on this problem again this week. I can't reproduce this on our server. Please submit this as an enhancement request. We would like to be allow each of our libraries to customize and use their own www-set-mail file. EL: I'm still working to get the 852 subfields correct - seeing similar problems to the ones you are seeing. At this point, it's fair to say we have given this issue a great deal of effort and not found a resolution. We would like to revisit this if the issue is still a problem once you have upgraded to ILL2. Verified that it works in version 17. Waiting to close until it is tested in version 18. I am closing this SI because we have not succeeded in replicating the situation that you describe and this seems to be related to both SI and SI I will have to test it and see if this works ok. I probably will not have time to do it for a few weeks until the version 18 upgrade settles down a bit.
